Denis Morrissey Park reviews
19Park has great potential. Suffering from neglect. Council needs to clean it up like Charlesworth Park. Tinderbox if someone drops a match. Toilets not built yet.
A fantastic park!
A great dog park, next to a great playground (with a creek), next to a great well grassed area to kick a ball or sit and watch the world go by.
All very well looked after.
An excellent place to pull over for a break. The place has facilities. Food and coffee is available in the service station. Importantly, it has a dog run. So if your pooch is suffering from the road, it's a great place to let them out and have a run.
Lovely small dog park, coupled with oval for ball play and playground for settings etc. My kids all love the creek too!
Toilets, bins and lots of bird life and gum trees.
A well equipped park: off street parking, playground, lawn, seating, petrol stations sell ice cream, toilet and off leash dog park.
Large gum trees shade the path and the playground.
Very good doggy park needs some shelter and the ground cover is mulch hard to see dog poo but very tidy and safe for dogs lawn tends to become patchy and muddy over time at other parks
It could be good. Moving to the district, I was excited to explore nearby dog parks. However, where the ground sloped down, a little unevenly, there was a gap of several inches at the base of the fence. There was no way that I would have dared unleash my little Maltese - ShihTzu dog, as he could easily have got under the fence, & the park is very close to two main roads. So I sat there for a while, with the pup on his lead, & then departed, never to return. I can’t understand how people say that they let chihuahuas run off leas. I was extremely disappointed.
I would love to see some kind of protective whire on the little bridge as I am scared that my 2 year old will easily fall through.
Excellent dog park for dogs to run and play. Clean, plenty of jumps and fresh cold water provided by council.
Nice bushy park, playground and a small area for dogs off their leash. Would be really nice in winter or after heavy rains when the creek would be running.
Small park for active or larger dogs, never seems to be any poop bags either so bring your own.
This place is a nice small park where you can enjoy the day with family. There is a playground for kids and a creek.
Parking is available for free
Reasonably large suburban Park located on Forth Creek. Has playground for the kiddies and they have recently laid irrigation so hopefully it will remain green throughout summer.
Great for little dogs especially, as the fenced in area is not very large. Logs and rocks and jumping areas add to the fun.
Small playground in a natural bush type setting. Next to a creek. Fenced on most sides, but not fully enclosed. Plenty of car parking, with Coles Express right next to it. Enclosed dog park and large grassy area. Has toilet.
Looks like a lovely park- please note that we went Sunday 9th Oct 2016 and it is currently closed due to flood damage.
Lovely Park area with a dog park section and separate lawn area for families. Love the creek that runs through but when it rains it can cause flooding to close off dog park etc
Great place for me to meditate and talk to my angels to help me find a place to lice. Which they did now living in Christies Beach near the ocean. Can hear the surf all day
