Deep Creek Conservation Park reviews
50Deep creek is a wonderful place to go camping, hiking or enjoying a picnic. There are many campgrounds and trails you can go and explore with your family
A good place to hike and take pictures.
Some rocks got really unique shapes which is quite interesting.
The nature out in this area is peaceful and quiet. This part of Australia is beautiful. From within the National Park there are many other places to be viewed. Cape Jervis and Kangaroo Island can be seen from one part. Other area's are rural with stock, sheep, cows and usually you will see deers, kangaroos and black cockatoos
It is one of the best Conservation Park to experience wild life and camping. Have some amazing hiking tracks, Waterfalls and full of wild life like kangaroo and different kinds of birds. Best place to see sunrise and sunset. It also has most beautiful Beach known blowhole Beach. Must visit place if you are in Adelaide.
Beautiful walking trails which take you exploring from secluded waterfalls to coastal beaches. The camp sites are kept well, a great spot to camp.
What a beautiful place to visit our native bush, the park is home to an abundance of wildlife, we saw kangaroos and many species of birds including the Superb Fairy-wren. Can’t wait to visit again and spend time soaking up the serenity and hiking on the trails.
If you haven’t been here I highly recommend it. The stringy bark campsite is the best out of all three. So relaxing and beautiful.
This is an excellent environment to really relax and enjoy what Australia has to offer.
There are a lot of kangaroos, amazing wild life and going here will give you a taste of how untouched Kangaroo island is, without catching the ferry.
There are diverse options as well, being able to walk through Forrest settings and 10 minutes drive away, being able to hike down to the water/ go whale watching.
A 4x4 isn’t necessarily essential, but if it’s wet, it will help as there are hilly dirt roads through out. In regards to supplies, I would recommend taking everything you need and more water than less. The nearest place to drop into a shop is really Yankalilla.
A must visit location for South Australia.
Great place to be away from civilization and be disconnected from the everyday life and stay one on one with nature
Absolutely amazing. Make sure you book in to pay for your day pass while you have phone signal. Then enjoy the beautiful scenery. The trails can be extremely steep if you take the hiking trail down to the cliffs and Blowhole beach. Well worth the effort! Please note the roads are not sealed and you need a 4WD to get down the steepest roads.
Wake to the beautiful sounds of the superb wrens singing their songs. Watch the sun rise out of the ocean and take a hike along the Heysen trail.
Sleep under the stars and actually see the milky way!
Beautiful national park, small trails to beautiful lookouts and enough campsites with good distance from other campers.recommend this place!
A beautiful, quiet, treasured National Park in the south of SA. Great walking trails, stunning views, plenty of places to set up camp and enjoy the wildlife and flora. Staying in the middle of the National Park is phenomenal. Everything is well sign-posted and roads and tracks are as well. Already planning my next trip there.
About 2 hour drive from the Adelaide city.
There are some non sealed road in some of the part.therefore you need to be prepared for that, or plan your routine ahead, if you don't want to be on a non sealed road. Other than that, it is very easy to drive. The non seal road is also wide and flat, therefore not a big issue even without a 4WD as well.
Respect walk and listen to nature
The area of Deep Creek Conservation Park lies within lands traditionally associated with both the Ramindjeri and Kaurna Indigenous people. The majority of the Park falls in the territory of Ramindjeri who lived in the Encounter Bay region and were one of the groups belonging to the Ngarrindjeri people.
Such a beautiful place to visit. If you have a 4wd it is a must to go down the track and see the beach. Especially if you love to fish. Views are amazing at sunset.
Beautiful place, If you wanna see Kangaroo? With baby in a pouch then you can visit there. Thats going to be a life time experience for you.
This is a lovely area for walking. We came during the week and we mostly had the place to ourselves. You should buy a day pass and also night pass if you stay the night. You will need a moderate level of fitness if you wish to do long walks, as it is a hilly area. We had a picnic on a grassy area near Trig campground where we were joined by kangaroos. The park ranger we spoke with was friendly and helpful.
So love this park, it has everything and caters for everyone. Be sure to check out Raywood Nursery too if you're a keen gardener
Highly recomemnded for camping and hikes. Hundreds of wild kangaroos can be seen very closely. Would come.near the camping area. Though the camping site is at it best naturally among the bushes amd trees, toilet facilities are not the best, but this is for tapanappa camping ground, the other campinv hround had even hot showers which was really good
Awesome camp ground, really well presented. Hike to the waterfall was great and the waterfall did not disappoint
