I cannot speak highly enough of our visit tonight! The food was incredible. The flavours were just mind blowing. The service was so lovely. Fast, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. They let us stay late and didn’t try to hurry us out. We all LOVED it, and can’t wait to go back. Thankyou!

Lovely restaurant decorated beautifully. A warm inviting atmosphere from the word go. The feed me menu us wonderful and very reasonably priced. The butter chicken and naan were highlights. Cocktails are delicious as well. Highly recommended.

Not sure how this place has less than 5 stars, a little pricy but the food is so unique and flavorful. Not even from Australia and would eat here again when I return! Best desi food so far

Came here on a weeknight, great feeling, entrees were great, balls of happiness, squid was great, the Mains were really good, had some cocktails, even the smell of the place was amazing.

The food here is sensational! It is so rich and full of flavour. It’s the first Indian restaurant I have found to provide an authentic Indian food experience. The only thing I would fault is the service, which could lend itself more to hospitality and customer experience. Other than that, we enjoyed the food very much and will absolutely be back.

The food is really good in taste in here. We had chaat papdi which was super crunchy, monos were tasty, squid got nice crunch in it as well the mains we had paneer makhni and eggplant bharta which was so good. Will back again

Food is delicious no meat dishes only chicken lamb and sea food. The happy Ball is very happy. Price is fair and waiters are fantastic except for the first guy leading us to the table that was rude and not helpful. Otherwise great experience!

Second time eating at DIL the other night - genuinely so impressed with the food and service. Every single staff member was incredibly kind and accomodating (and in peak Fringe season), and the food was delicious (including the recommendations given to us). Could not be happier

Balls of pure happiness, cauliflower and butter chicken curry medium heat are our picks. The flavours were incredible and the staff were very knowledgeable. Such a great atmosphere and will be back in a heart beat.

Place was really busy as it was Fringe in Adelaide and although the food was tasty, the portions were small. Way overpriced in my opinion and not enough choice to entice us back. Staff were good but overall rather underwhelming

We were intrigued by the recommendations for Daughter in Law's unique Australian-Indian fusion cuisine and decided to give it a try. While the curries tasted great when eaten with basmati rice and garlic naan, they didn't distinguish themselves from what you might expect at a typical Indian restaurant that serves lamb and chicken curries. The pork dumplings (momos) were average, and the tomato sauce lacked depth and tasted like it was made from canned tomatoes. The Balls of Happiness had an interesting name, but they were essentially puff pastry balls filled with a sweet salsa that didn't quite fit the savory category or feel like a proper appetizer. Unfortunately, we felt that the food was overpriced given the quality and taste. On a positive note, the staff were friendly, the service was good, and the atmosphere was enjoyable. We just wished that the food lived up to the rest of the experience.

Reserved for my wife's b'day. Food is authentic and tasty. I was amazed with the service. It was a very busy Friday evening and still there wasn't any delays in bringing food to our table. Space management is something they should work on. I would definitely return, especially for the butter chicken.

Food was delicious, had an amazing time catching up with the girls friends. We opted for the feed me menu and everything was delicious. We were all stuffed by the end of third course. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Daughter In Law, and I must say that it was an incredible experience from start to finish. My wife and I ordered three vegan dishes, and we were blown away by the incredible flavors and presentation of each one.

The service was excellent from the moment we walked in the door. Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We were also impressed with the knowledge of the staff, who were able to answer all of our questions about the dishes and make recommendations based on our preferences.

The vegan curry was absolutely amazing. The blend of spices was perfect, and the dish was perfectly balanced.

To accompany our meal, we ordered a couple of cocktails, which were equally impressive. The mixologists at Daughter In Law really know their stuff, and the drinks were both beautiful and delicious.

Overall, I can't recommend Daughter In Law highly enough. From the incredible food to the amazing service, everything about our experience was top-notch. Whether you're vegan or not, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
