Dario Caravans and Repairs Sales Yard

I have a brand new Jayco Penguin but due to my shoulder it was getting harder to wind up the roof. Researched JackaJay electric lifters and Dario was listed as one of the SA JackaJay installers. The whole process from enquiry to the installation, handover and instruction of how to use the JackaJay was great, professional and ran smoothly. The staff at Dario were very knowledgeable and super friendly. Thanks again Dario for making my future journeys in my camper more manageable.

I came to Dario's after hearing of their good reputation. Ended up overcharging for the job and workmanship was less than average in some areas. They have no answers for legitimate questions. Will not recommend to others. Very disappointed.

I had to use Dario’s recently and the help and outcome I received from Neil and Marco was exceptional. I have no hesitation in recommending them for any Caravan service sales or repairs.

Not a fan. Staff are often dismissive and rude. I bought a number of items recently, and needed to swap over a different t size of some $5 connections I bought to another size. They wouldn’t do it because I didn’t have a receipt, even though I wasn’t asking for a refund and they weren’t going to be out of pocket. Places and service like this is why buying online is so much easier. I have since spent many many $1,000’s on van parts in my build, and they missed out on all of it.

Amazing staff! Was in for spares and staff where so helpfull, knowledgeable and was a pleasant shopping experiance. Bought a few project spares with peace of mind. Fitted a few parts already and where spot on and easy fitting with knowledge provided. Thanks all there. Best in Adelaide by a long shot easily, if you've delt with Jayco you will know what I mean.

We found Dario to be exceptional in regards to customer service. Very friendly, they follow through in a timely manner and the follow up is fantastic - we never had to chase for information. Our job was an insurance based repair and we also paid to have items installed: Maxx Fan, new fridge and new tap. David has been fantastic in communication and really looked after us. Highly recommend this business.

Excellent service for our 22 ft family caravan, polite and effective staff, well equipped and flexible enough to allow for an extra job on the day. Highly recommended!

Wide range of spare parts available. They surprised me by having the window parts I had been looking for. Very friendly and helpful.

Looking for small gas struts for several weeks could not find any, Sam at Dario's got the size and a good price had them delivered to Darios at pooraka the next day for me at no extra cost.

I was after a trailer adapter (12 to 7 way (and Jayco were out of stock). When I rang Dario and asked for the adaptor, the lady said "we don't sell them and they won't be available, as it's not possible".
So, I rang a towbar place, they had one.

Did warranty work on an awning that was faulty from the supplier. No issue, done free with a pleasant reception.

Signed up to sell my Snowy River SR19 on consignment after buying from Dario in 2020. The van was subsequently advertised and sold at pricing higher than quoted. Within days of being presented for sale the end result was a fixed minimum return to me and maximum profit gouge to Dario. Can't recommend.trust was completely broken.

Charged us several hundred dollars to service brakes, shocks etc, and they malfunctioned on our first trip following this. On inspection when we were addressing the issue, it appears that they haven't actually touched anything under the van during the "service". No effort to assist with breakdown, long weekend plans ruined.

Edited to add: Upon follow up with management on a week day, we were provided with both an apology and a refund, for which we are appreciative.

My van was serviced by Dario prior to big trip to Red Centre. Got to Port Augusta and found brakes scaping and red hot. Luckily Augusta Caravan and Campers were able to remedy the problem and get us on our way, albeit at some cost. Back in Adelaide Dario were in denial and only wanted to blame Augusta Caravan and Campers for the problem!

Quoted me $2330 for an awning that retails for $1650 from the same supplier.
Quoted 6 hours to fit an awning to a new empty cargo van, and 8 hours to fit a gas storage box without fittings and certification.
Could not tell me the legal requirements of where to fit a Shore Power inlet Plug on a van.
I'll spend my money elsewhere thankyou very much Neil.

Quality service & helpful, it's where to get caravan parts. Recently purchased a camper water tank.

We took our caravan > Darios, for assessment of several maintenance repairs or replacements. The gentleman was courteous & knowlegeable re the van's needs, & sent an emailed quote through promptly that evening.
