Dan Murphy's Marden

Don't expect to get cold beer here. Midday on a Sunday in mid December and the fridge is half empty - and it's not even a hot day! Also the place just seems dirty and rundown.

I came here today 5/12 to pick up some wine for work and some gift bags. I was super stressed and had been looking everywhere for the exact gift bags needed and couldn’t find them. Paige went above and beyond for me and was so lovely and helpful. Thank you so much! You made shopping so much easier today and my boss was pleased to have the gift bags she wanted. You’re amazing, I even saw how you treated the elderly lady that came through. You were so lovely.

Bad experience ever in here. The Asian girl in the counter served customer with very bad attitude. Driving a long way didn’t deserve this.

Tried calling them 15 minutes before close to warn that I had declined a customer for secondary supply at a neighbouring bottle shop, they stated they were heading to Dan Murphys and instead of individual store numbers, there's a single call centre number attached to every store that isn't open while the store is. Really disappointing to know that someone is breaking the law tonight because I can't call the individual store.

It is my go to place for a bottle. Always ask for the wine guru and they always show genuine pride in guiding to a suitable bottle

I mean its Dan Murphy's, so we all know what expect, huge range and decent prices for members. Staff are always helpful.

My local store and easily the worst Dan Murphys I have visited, every other store manages to keep a carton of cold Asahi in stock, I have given up on this store now, I just drive another 5ks to the next one.

Starting to find that Uncle Dan is not as cheap as it once was. I'm finding a lot cheaper prices for products at many random places eg my tiny local Korean mart has Soju ~30% cheaper (where's the buying power of Dan?)

Very friendly and helpful team here - I came in looking for a 6 pack of assorted craft beer and staff members were more than happy to help with recommendations so I could put my own gift pack together.

Better selection than many of the other Dan's SA stores which is good and also a sign of where Dan's sees it worth spending money to bad it's a bit of a drive past 3 other stores to get here

But didn't have Sarsaprarilla as they advertised, also they say lowest prices COOPERS SPARKING ALE $22.99 compared to LIQUOR LAND $22.00 GLYNDE HOTEL $20.00 for 6 cans or stubbies. I have told them about this maney times but price has not been changed!

Excellent range, particularly of vintage wines and specialty spirits. Staff were wonderful, often offering assistance. The parking at Marden is tight, but parking on the roadside of Portrush is best for Dan's.

Clean and tidy store with a wide range alcoholic beverages to choose from. Friendly staff. Recommend.

Big store with full of varieties of brands. Have lots of offers on membership. Wonderful customer service.

Great staff. What I wanted was not on the shelf.asked the staff and they were more than obliging to pull out stock.even when they were 5 mins to closing. Awesome guys. You Rock.

I visited Dan's at Marden today around 12.30 PM. I wanted to price match Bacardi oakheart Rum (For which I also had Screen shot of price offered by Liquorland). I have been shopping in Dan Murphy's from past 3.5 years and I know that Dan's don't just match price but they beat it by $1.
The team member said, ''I decide what price you get''. I have never been treated with that level of arrogance at Dan's ever. Its not about just a dollar or some cents but its about how I got treated.
On top of that that guy (Bruce) he was asking me to pay quickly without even listening to me.
I have been to many Dan's store with lovely people and wonderful assistance but this was WORST EXPERIENCE OF ALL.
Now I wish I would have just gone to Liquorland to purchase it.

I had similar experience like rituj S few days ago at Dan's Marden. Do they say they beat the price just for sake of advertising?
