Dan Murphy's Glenunga

Nice and cool inside. Went in search of Milk, as I missed the closing time for Coles at Burnside Village. No milk, unless you want it with Vodka. On the plus side Scotch Whiskey is cheaper here than buying it in the UK, including Tesco

Came in on 22 December at about 8: 30.

The security at the door had really bad BO. I don’t normally care about this kind of thing but I think he must have trouble reading because he was looking at my ID for almost a minute and I had to hold my breath. Wilson security should give their employees more break time so they can freshen up because I actually feel sorry for him.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dan Murphy's, and let me tell you, it was an experience unlike any other. Not only did they have an impressive selection of brands and flavors to choose from, but the store itself was massive - I'm pretty sure they have every type of liquor known to man. And if by some chance they don't have what you're looking for, well, it probably doesn't exist.

But the real standout aspect of this place was the staff. Not only were they friendly and helpful, but they were also incredibly knowledgeable about all the different types of liquor on the shelves. I asked a few questions about some of the more obscure brands they had, and they were able to provide detailed and informative answers.

All in all, I had a fantastic time at Dan Murphy's, and I'll definitely be coming back for more in the future. And if you're in the market for some top-notch liquor, I highly recommend giving this place a visit. You won't be disappointed!

Very rude security at the door.

I was picking up an online order with 3 other people. My friend was having trouble loading her ID on her phone, he was so snarky to us while we waited and grabbed her phone once it loaded. He kept telling me where to stand, pointing to one place then another. Not letting me in while we waited for the ID to load, I checked the law and minors are allowed in premises used for packaged liquor sales when accompanied by an adult. They check your ID at the counter anyway.
I won’t shop there again, BWS has better sales anyway.

Service was good. Had everything we wanted and the young people working in the store were very polite and helpful

An excellent liquor outlet, but couldn't find any black Japanese beer, so bit disappointed

Dan Murphys has a great range of brands and flavours. It's a really big store.
If they don't have what you want then it probably doesn't exist.
Really nice, friendly and very helpful staff.
Definitely coming back.

Got what I wanted. A good selection of any booze one can desire at a price you can expect to be reasonable to pay.

The craft beer range is some of the biggest i have ever seen! Local breweries available in a wide range of flavours, plus also some harder to find European beers. Credit as well for the whole wall almost of alcohol free beer too

Great staff and service but why is it that my beer is always warm when I do a Click and collect?

I came in today with a few needs across reds, whites, whisky and ciders. I was served by Will who was absolutely exceptional. Excellent knowledge of entire range of products with good recommendations and was more than happy to answer all my questions. This Dan's is generally out of my way but will definetly make the trip out again.

I had to direct them to what i was looking for, wine came in wine cask aswell, which I thought about an found myself to show them, they didn't know it existed.then asked if I would like a job there as they were short of staff an lacked a little experience.no thanks, im from Melbourne I replied.but very nice, tidy n clean store. Friendly too.

Nice place to buy liqour, having vast variety of liqour available as well price was also better to some of the other places in the city.

Staff is really not helpful.
I was there at 8pm thru just closed. Though they still serve customers l can see that.

Great price, great selection and good service.
More fancy stuff these days and more different beers than you can pike a stick at.

Always a good experience in here the staff are super friendly, the only issue is parking, too popular perhaps.

Staff were very friendly and the store had a good range. Parking was very convenient out the back, and it was easy to find what I needed.
