Dan Murphy's Gilles Plains reviews
32There is a worker here his name is Luke he helped me and my mother-in-law the last time we were here, he is fantastic! Great customer service and helped us amazingly! So thank you! We will 100% be coming back
I have lived in this Area all my life at Holden Hill. Had a Bussiness in Holden Hill, HOLDEN HILL AUTO GAS & MECHANICAL REPAIRS, For 28 years, Have allways frequented The, GILLES PLAINS SHOPPING CENTRE. Dan Murphy's is a Great place to shop. There Stock is immense. And great friendly & knowledgeable Staff. CHEERS.
They have a girl working there that is extremely rude and careless with people's products I've been going there since day one but think I'll start going elsewhere
Very disappointment approach from front staff as he sold alcohol to an underage thats unacceptable
Very friendly staff and wonderful service always asking if you need help. Love all Dan Murphy's!
Worst dans “endeavour group” shop in SA hands down. Staff have absolutely ZERO knowledge of any wines in the store. Got asked for ID even though I’m 32yrs old and covered in tattoos with more facial hair than the young lad “serving” me had on his entire body. Terrible assumption made by the staff when I’m attempting to buy a $90 international wine. Not sure how many 17yrs olds would be buying international wine, especially a $90 bottle. The young bloke “serving” me was rude and condescending in every way possible. He refused to accept a digital copy of my identification and completely went against the RSA rules. Previous to this, id asked for some advice on wines from another staff member, it seemed the staff had absolutely no idea of the products they sold nor did they care. Simply there to get a pay cheque and go home. About time Woolies actually employed staff who have any common knowledge of wines to help their customers and not treat them like underage idiots when all the appropriate identification required by law was presented. Terrible service and experience. Will not step foot in this store again.
The tasting experience was very poor.
Staff did not have the knowledge of the product.
Could hardly taste the beverage as the quantity given was so small.
Plastic cups were used when we are on drive towards netzero!
Very poor experience.
Bad customer service! Did not receive online orders in full. When I call store an automated response tells me to talk to a bot on the website that is made to help choose wines! There is not option to talk to an employee. Not the first time this has happened
Helpful staff, plenty of stock, unfortunately not happy about "The shareholder's decision" by removing items from the shelf because of PC. I had this experience 8-9 years back when other imported products disappeared from the shelf preferring different producers offering similar spirits which probably cheaper to import however is not the same quality. If you get the wealth from the people who buying the products you sell, you have the obligation to ask your consumers what they want. This advice is free from me this time.next time I just walk away from your shop. This is a free world - I believe - and can import goods from abroad and will do. Just saying
Worst experience ever today. The young girl who served us asked for Photo ID & clearly showed my scanned copies of licence, passport and what not but she was just not ready to accept it as they were scanned and “according to her terms it’s not a digital ID apparently”.
Meanwhile other customer came with a 16 year old daughter and she asked her ID as well but the mother was quiet rude so she just let her go (No ID check, NOTHING!) So the girl is clearly DISCRIMINATING based on people which is clearly NOT ACCEPTABLE and QUIET UPSETTING.
Variety of options to chose from. At times online deals are better than member discounts in shop.
Love Dan the Man!
Prices are always excellent. Huge range, don't shop anywhere else for your drinks.
Only complaint is the use of the DM card. Doesn't do anything, you don't get points, win anything etc. For the amount of money we spend, that would be a good feature.
Parking though is a pain. Gilles Plains car park is awful.
Great & variety collection of alcohol, staffs are friendly helping out customers with selecting alcohol and members offers are great discount!
Staff helpful & friendly, ezy park'n & like all DM stores Gd Beer & Wine selection too
Quite disappointed because this is one of two local stores close to me so I have purchased from here before, but twice now, I have been into this store to buy a carton of my prefered beer, and have produced an advertisement for it at a lower price and then been told that the other store advertising it is too far away to be able to price match! (even though the other store advertising is still in Adelaide metro area) I will not be going into this store again nor will I be recommending it.
Staff helpful & friendly, ezy park'n & like all DM stores Gd Beer & Wine selection too
Fabulous service above and beyond anything expected. Very friendly staff wanting to help customer s
This is my local internal sanitizer booze buzz shop. We only have some good wines and Dan's always has them in stock. I get notifications when there are on specials and we get them in bulk. No other stores may her Uncle Dan's. Dan's the best place to shop
We walked in, we walked out with more alchohol on our person than before. So we had a good experience
Good range of products with good prices bit awkward to get into and out of carpark due to busy main roads but small price to pay.
