Dan Murphy's Gepps Cross

Harry from the store did an exceptional job today. He went above and beyond just to help me out because we have messed up our online order. However, he kindly offer us a hand and help me fix it. Really appreciated the effort.

Price differed on shelf to website, Staff very obliging to honour website price.
But it paid us to check before we bought

Most of the products are dusty at this Dan's and lady in her 50's at the counter was visibly upset, all I asked was a paper bag cover my Scotch and she gave me one by murmuring" oh God", felt like I spent money to buy embarassment. Would choose Holden Hill Dan's anytime over this one as the shopping was bit more pleasant.

Definitely a good variety and price's to match. Sadly my 2 rating is based on Julia! Not sure if she owns the store.but she definitely acts like it! I have had at least 5 bad customer service experiences with her! And witnessed many more. Don't work in retail if you are not a people person

The store is always clean and tidy. The service is great and the team are always switched on!

Convenient on the way home to get in and out of and always easy parking.

Absolutely disgusting service by the lady that served me at 2: 58pm today. Zero customer service skill, never made eye contact and only said two things, Dan Murphy’s card and the price. My favourite part was walking back to my car after dropping the trolley off and seeing her walking back into Dan Murphy’s after a 15 second vaping brake out the front and walking back in blowing her vape out as she walked in the front door like she owned the joint. I was impressed though how she was able to operate the till with her back to me whilst having a social conversation to a coworker

Nice store but the greeting I got when I walked in from the girl at at the front wasn't good Not sure if she was new or just preoccupied with something else But, while standing in the rosé section a man walked past, spotted me, and asked if I needed any help.that was nice

Purchased online and collected. Staff were friendly and efficient. Huge range of products, so you can't go wrong.

It o.k for a big player like Woolworths chain discount could be more given its huge buying power

Limited stock of high end scotch and bubbles. Don't fear, great staff to sort you out with something else!

Always a wide selection and super prices and specials. If I'm looking for a particular item, the majority of the time Dan stocks it and at a very, very competitive price - usually cheaper than the other 3 near me. My go to place for the best range at the best price.

Great place they stocked many varieties of wine, beer and spirit including local and imports prize range from budget to a very expensive ones. Easy access to car parking, friendly staffs. I am certainly recommended.

The staff at Dan Murphy's in Gepps Cross were very kind and helpful. When I couldn't find what I was looking for, they very kindly found exactly what I was looking for. 5 out of 5 stars.

Service can improve. Was looking for help and could not find anyone on the floor to assist. Had to wait in line at counter to ask a query.

While the shelves were a bit low on stock cause of easter, There was still a huge selection of drinks available, and I was easily able to buy an alternative to what I was looking for.

Always come here for my spirits and wine for dad, as the prices are cheaper than most other places, and have a bigger variety of all drinks! Will always come here!

Purely discrimination by the security women and young female staff at check-out point.

It’s reasonable and understandable when security was trying to check ID, however kept letting me shake my phone, and ended up just grab my phone away and shake it herself.

Seriously under COVID why would you take someone’s phone without permission?

Fine so I grabbed a wipe and just simply clean up my phone, the security started talking with this female staff, kinda making fun saying they don’t have COVID.

We walked around the shop, grabbed couple cartons of beers and few bottles of spirit.
When we were heading to pay off, THEY ASKED FOR OUR ID AGAIN!

Seriously it’s just 5 steps away, and that female staff was staring at us when the security checked our ID.

So far this is the worst Dan Murphy/ bottle shop I have ever been. It’s a shame for these kind of people working in hospitality industry.

Will never come again. And I will surely tell everyone about what happened today

Usually great, friendly service but today was treated to a staff member who clearly didn't want to be there. Purchased 6 bottles of wine which I do every other week but this staff member was arrogant and rude. Just slammed my bottles on the bench rudely asked if I had a membership card and apparently had no intention of putting my bottles in a box (which every other staff member I had encountered has politely done). Please get this guy out of customer service and get him stacking shelves!

Good selection of wines and spirits. The specials are not that special anymore. Everyone has the same rate for beer or spirits these days. The staff are friendly especially the young ones. The older ladies are not that helpful that won't even box your wines and often have a very indifferent look on their faces.
