We had the best time aboard Loud Whisper, wouldn’t of changed a thing, Tim and Gaynor both so helpful couldn’t ask for nicer people, thanks again can’t wait to return and do it all again.

Thoroughly Enjoyed our week on "Pure Magic". This vessel is now our #1 favourite.

We went on Pure Magic. Great boat! The nicest out of 6 or 7 I've been on. Super quiet automatic Genny was the least intrusive ever. Gratuitous bread photos thanks to the fan forced oven so the crew enjoyed fresh baked bread. One loaf was gone before it cooled down. River was fantastic. Mist on the water at sunrise with all the bird calls and the fish jumping never gets tiring. Sunset spa one of the perks too. We went in August so the mornings were a bit chilly but the heater fixed that pretty smartly. Days warmed up to be nice and mild with the bonus of no flies or snakes to worry about and able to have a fire for marshmallow duties. You don't need to go in summer.
One of the best spots was only a couple of ks upriver from the marina and we could have spent the whole week there. Less river traffic too so more peace and quiet. A nice part of the river. We want to go again. Once every six months if we win lotto.

Well I've hired plenty of houseboats over the years but the quality of service, the boat and the location on the river have never been this good. So quiet and so much space. The owners here are really passionate about making your experience the best and know the river. And a general tip - don't overlook winter as a great time of year in this location.

Boat ramp access to the river. Convenient parking. Not much other facilities unless you're a customer of a Customs Houseboats.

We.went here thinking it was like a museum. It is now.a. Private residence and house boat hire. Think it has shop but wasn't open. Disappointed

We have just returned from 7 nights aboard Mullaroo-sunset houseboat. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on this lovely houseboat. Bring your food, clothes friends and family

Just spent a fabulous week on Desert Rose with friends. This well appointed and comfortable boat was clean and well presented. With an ensuit for each bedroom & a spa and BBQ area upstairs, this was the most comfortable and luxurious houseboat we have hired in over 20 years of hiring houseboats each year. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday. We are already planning our holiday for next year with Customs House Houseboats.

Customs House houseboats are wonderful. We have just been away for a week with friends on The Desert Rose houseboat and had an amazing time. The boat is well equipped and very well laid out. We where very lucky with the weather and got to use the upper deck with its fantastic spa and bbq area. The owners are very kind and helpful. We will definitely use them agin in the future.

The closest you are going to get by road for Mc Cabes Corner, lovely place to get a coffee and check out there houseboats that are reasonably priced

My friends and I stayed on the oasis boat for 6 nights, we loved every bit of our first experience on a houseboat.

What made our experience even better, Tim and his son Danny came and visited us most days on their speedboat and offered to take us to do water sports,
which was completely out of their own spare time.

Tim went above and beyond to make our stay had fun and comfortable as possible.

Definitely will be coming back in the future to do this again!

Thank you so much Tim, Gaynor, Sammy and co for a wonderful first experience on the Oasis Houseboat. This was all our first time on a houseboat and didn’t know what to expect. The expectations were blown out of the water. They were extremely approachable, accommodating and made sure we had a fantastic time. Border Cliffs is a beautiful part of the Murray with beautiful scenery and tranquil sunsets.
We will definitely be back!

We had a very relaxing holiday on the beautiful ‘Desert Rose’ houseboat. Every room was complete with an ensuite, and there were plenty of entertainment areas. The kitchen was very well equipped too.

Great fleet of boats, beautiful part of the Murray River and Tim and Gaynor are fantastic people.

We hired the Warrandoo Boat. It was the best 10 nights holiday, we didn't want to get off. Tim & Gaynor are fantastic & go out of their way to help out, I would definitely recommend these guys. Will be going back.
If you would like to hire out your boat or go on a holiday this is where you should go. Thanks guys 5 stars deserved.

The people here are lovely and you really feel like they will go the extra mile for you, even on the hottest of days. The houseboat we went on was superb - clean, spacious and modern. The area is absolutely beautiful and if you stay above the lock you are unlikely to see many, if any, other boats for days. An awesome trip - thanks Customs House Houseboats.

Custom House is a fantastic location to start a houseboat holiday, beautiful part of the Murray River great scenery, fishing and kayaking locations. The owners are amazing and cannot do enough to make your adventure truly amazing! Thank you so much for everything, we had a fabulous time on Pure Magic and will be back again.

This place is literally in the middle of nowhere but a beautiful location. Theres walking trails, a boat ramp, a small kiosk with drinks and the daily essentials and even house boat hire

A very quiet and peaceful spot. A great place to escape, with easy mooring and the boat was clean and in great condition.

Interesting and quirky place to visit. VIC/SA border change has become one of my favourite subjects
