Cudlee Creek Restaurant Tavern and Caravan Park

Organised our CFS Christmas Party at the Tavern. The service and food was fantastic. They decorated the tables and made a fun night for all to enjoy. Thank you Karen and the team.

Trust me, this is great value to have a quick bite when you visit gorge zoo! Definitely worth it!

Our Thurs.night, $12 eat all U want, 6-9pm smorgasboard meal was very much appreciated & enjoyed- bookings esential. It was good 2 how well attended, especially by the locals. Building & Caravan park especially, very much in need of major renovation 2 bring them up 2 current standards, especially re disabilities. No current cabins have an ensuite. Location is excellent with lots of potential. Very close 2 the Gorge Wild Life Sanctuary. Easy access & parking.

Popped in for a quick meal and a cold drink after a long day on the Heysen Trail, only 3 people in the bar. Barman didn’t acknowledge us as we walked in, was calling out to get the attention of someone else walking out to see if he wanted another beer. We stood at the bar awkwardly and waited till we got the look and a brisk ‘yep’ from the barman. We asked if food was available and were told that yes they do meals with no offer of a menu, we said we were after something that could be prepared quickly as we’re time poor and asked what the options were. We were told to go to Gorge Wildlife Park instead as ‘that’s for fast food and tourists’. Left and pulled in elsewhere on the way back to Adelaide. It’s a shame as we’d heard the food was delish but we didn’t feel welcome to stay.

True Blue aussie pub.worth the time and travel. Thursday night $12 snitty all u can eat is a bargain.

Have not been there before, will I go back, yes. Love country hotels. The service, food, atmosphere. The staff friendly.

Best ever! Owner is amazing! I've never camped here, but I did stop by for nachos after my visit to the wildlife park up the road.

Food was excellent but please my dear friend Andy it would be great of you if you could be polite to your customers.

I’m ashamed that I’ve passed this pub before, never again will I pass without popping in. Top food and drinks, perfect counter meals under $20, great community vibe. $6 pints on off-days. Complete winner.

It's a shame that the caravan park is in such poor condition, the tavern and bar are dragged down by it. The meals are well-cooked, reasonable serving sizes and good value for money. Drinks are also good value for money and there's a good selection for takeaways.

The caravan park is in need of a lot of repair and maintenance. There are numerous permanent residents along the creek bank whose dwellings are very run down in appearance. The camp kitchen and BBQ building is very neglected. I doubt the BBQ gas bottles are in date, but either way, the deck that they're on with with BBQs appears to be on the brink of collapse. Probably don't rely on the camp kitchen for meals/BBQs.

It was suggested to me that they need to bulldoze the grounds and start again. Unfortunately, it looks like someone has started that process and pushed a large pile of rubbish into the creek - environmental vandalism right there.

Nothing fancy and food was plain and not very tasty
Sat outside to eat and place needs a good clean up and painting very run down
Beer was warm and food wasn't really hot

Excellent value reminds me of the old pub meal prices etc. Kids meals under 10 dollars and an on the house raspberry lemonade each. Sitting in the sun out in the beer garden. Great experience

They have done it again. Great service, good food and a little pokies win. Highly recommend.
Have to admit not a huge fan of chips in a basket but if that's the worst I'll be back.

If you like rats and mice running through your anex, sulphur crested cockatoos screaming in the morning and evening and the manager Andy’s unfriendly manner then this is the place for you.

The owner of this place is very grumpy. Im beginning to doubt that there are always two sides to the story. Does not seem very cudlee at all. Was going to stay here but seems very rude

Absolutely loved it.
Only issue we had was gentleman behind bar and running it park had 2 personalities.
Fantastic in bar restaurant service but when come to the park or internet he wasn't to pleasent at all.
I also inquired about dinner service and got told did u not read sign meals all day but I want dinner and wanted to make sure they had room for us.

Maybe a suggestion have 2 people 1 for bar and 1 for park.

Need more lighting so u can see at nite in the park.

Honestly nice quiet place to stay at.
Restaurant food really nice.
Love the cuddle Creek moscato wine the gentleman behind the bar gave me.
We will come and get wine more often now and it's supporting locals.

Close to gorge Rd wildlife Park highly recommended people to go to wildlife park.

Staff was a little ray of sunshine. We were very polite and respectful, yet we seemed to just be an inconvenience. All we got was constant huffing and puffing and eye rolling.

Be a good idea that you say in your information that you don’t except people that don’t have vaccination status! Poor form!

Great hospitality excellent food beautiful people relaxing environment just a great place I give this place 10 out of 10 ️️️
