Crown Inn Hotel Kingston reviews
50Tuesday night at Crown Hotel Kingston SE is Snitzel night, well supposed to be. Very disappointed not honoured as it is advertised on Web site. Questioned by staff and had no idea. Played full price
Old hotel, well located, has a bar on the lower floor, I had some pasta that was very good. When I arrived they gave me the key to the room, upon entering I found that there was another person. At the “reception” they apologized and gave me a superior room for the mistake. Good mattress, blanket, TV and mini bar that I did not use. A lot of musty smell, dirty hallways with beer cans, in the early morning I woke up with a lot of cigarette smell. The bathrooms are totally disgusting, very dirty toilets, beer cans everywhere, ants making nests. The truth is I couldn't use the bathrooms, I would attach photos but they are very unpleasant.
Good country style pub in Kingston. Thursdays have a two for one meal deal at lunchtime which made it a very good value lunch where we had the seafood platter and rump steak, both for around $30. Food was nice, salad bar a little small but salads were good. Nice pub atmosphere, well worth checking out if you are traveling through.
The place is a little worn out, and the facilities could use a touch up, but For 60$ a night you can't hardly complain so you get what you pay for I guess
Great customer service, staff very friendly polite, Great food. Young serving staff polite and friendly, good customer service and excellent smiles. Complimentary to the Chef / cook n kitchen staff
Fantastic service, food, venue, and friendly locals at the front bar.
Highly recommended. Full house for lunch on a Wednesday. Don't bother with the Royal near the RV park
Amazing service.
Staff were professional and helpful
Kitchen were able to assist with gluten free meals.
Good service reasonable prices. Salad bar potatoes salad best I have had. I had flat head fish very nice
Perfect hotel, clean and beautiful house.breakfast included.
.
no kitchen is a little one pity.
I couldn't ask for any better place to stay than Crown Inn Hotel Kingston. I ended up staying there due to bad organisation on my part with my motorbike. I had no booking, I asked for a room, they welcomed me with open arms and a spare room. As they said to me 'We always keep a couple of rooms free in case of a rider or stray coming in town. '
Amazing people, the service and chat were gold, not to mentions the beers of course and the meal after a long ride.
Taking the time to sit with me and chat about life, made me feel comfortable and safe.they looked after my motorbike as well, placed her in the shed for security. I can go on.
I recommend Crown inn hotel Kingston to anyone riding thru the town. I look forward in returning and ill be sure to stay with those fellas once more. Safe ride everyone.
Stayed at the caravan park & the courtesy bus to pick-up & drop off to the pub a bonus, driver was a lovely young man. Food, service & ambience very good
Great customer service, staff very friendly polite, Great food. Pork ribs, rump steak n chips n salad, young serving staff polite and friendly, good customer service and excellent smiles. Complimentary to the Chef / cook n kitchen staff
Ate at the pub below. The service wasn't great, all meals came separately about 10 mins apart. The dining room was very very loud, people shouting, kids running around under servers feet. Not a place to go if you like a quiet meal.
The meal itself was average, nothing special. The salad bar looked very sad, not much choice.
Hard to get a drink, the bar staff tend to serve the locals they know first.
Visiting from interstate venue recommend for a meal, how disappointing waited 1hour & 20 minutes to receive our meals cold. Best part of the meal the bread roll & salad.
Great friendly staff in bottle shop. Haven't stayed or eaten here so can't rate rooms or food but what I saw looked great.
Bussing food, get the Diane sauce then you'll cream your pants because it will be the best you've ever had. I personally get a medium-rare rump steak with the Diane and dipping chips in that sauce is amazing.
Have been for lunch twice in a week while staying in the caravan park for 10 nights. Service was friendly and food was excellent.
Staff were lovely and the food was wonderful. Ordered the chicken schnitzel with salad and Diane sauce. The chicken was crunchy and cooked beautifully, the sauce was to die for. The salad wasn’t the best, a bit of a weird mix of macaroni, coleslaw, and a few lettuce leaves, but it was ok. They also have a great wine and alcohol menu but unfortunately didn’t have what I was craving on a hot day, and that was just an iced tea. Overall, however, definitely one of the best pubs I’ve been to in terms of food. Would definitely recommend.
Great pub, Good beer selection, huge meat tray raffles on Fridays, great food all at good prices and massive servings, full pizza menu for eat on and takeaway too! Exactly what a good pub should be
Steak was a bit tough, Dianne Sauce was absolutely beautiful but it took a while to get our meal.
