Craft Coffee Cafe reviews
28 Perfectly serviceable cafe in the heart of a busy homemaker centre. If you're after a quick snack or coffee whilst having a shop, it's a good option
I don't think places need to be a knockout, just be able to provide good tasting food with a quick/to-go experience for people
I think this place achieves this - decent coffee, decent food and a good variety. Only thing I found a bit unnecessary was the robotic waiter; it was a quiet morning and a friendly face goes a long way in service
The quality of the food and coffee has dropped tremendously over the past few years. Sandwiches used to be so delish and coffee used to be so smooth and creamy. That was 3 years ago. Now it's just an overpriced cafe with less than average sandwiches and less than average coffee. Honestly, it's so overpriced that the environment and the quality of food and drinks are not even suitable for the price charged. I literally feel ripped off coming here. Like, i make better coffee using my nescafe powder at home! That's how bad the coffees are.
Served by a robot it took longer to put my meal on the robot and program it to send to me and noticed 2 other tables had to get up and move chairs so the robot could take the meals to the tables of other orders just another business taking jobs away from Australian workers for more $$$$. Other than that I’ve never had a bad meal here but if the robot stays I won’t
Waited 30 mins for 2 shakes
No management of queue, manager also tried to give us wrong order.
Absolute chaos!
Quality of shake was below average.
Greeted by friendly staff and welcoming Pudubot. The food was great tasting, fair pricing and open atmosphere. Great for a sit down coffee or brunch with friends before shopping.
Pudubot was interesting being served. Kids enjoyed the talking robot serving some food.
Lovely little cafe in a shopping centre, quirky atmosphere inside and you get served your meal by a cute little robot! Never seen one before and it was funny, great food for price, would eat there again.
Great cafe with good coffee and lovely meals. The kids loved the robot that delivered our order.
S'posed to be open 'til five but closed the kitchen before 4. Too bad for us as we were after more than coffee and cake. Villi's to the rescue. 24 hrs a day good food.
Average food and very average coffee for the price, the person who appeared to be the manager or owner was rude to customers and other staff. It was too cold to sit inside so most customers came outside to sit saying it was freezing.
Walked in to see the young woman serving blow her nose with reminants of a used tissue and then pick up a coffee cup. What happened to hand hygiene! Eeewww. Safe to say I walked straight out.
Sorry to say our coffee was soo hot we could not finish them
And they were very weak
Such a great location to make a dollar
The best thing for this cafe would be if a competitor opened up in the Homemaker Centre so they would have to be more transparent.
Paid $1.50 for oat milk in their smallest coffee size. The coffee was passable but certainly the milk was not special enough to warrant that big a fee. No prices listed anywhere and they have a card surcharge on top of it all! Get a coffee before you go shopping.
Ok little place at Mile End Homemaker coffee was hot just a bit weak for me, food was good but poached eggs were a bit underdone.
Had a short halt at Craft Coffee Cafe, mile end.amazing coffee & breakfast.loved it.don't miss it guys.
Not entirely sure how a mango and coconut smoothie is $10 for a regular size. No prices on the board either. Staff don’t seem like they really want to be there either.
Smoothie isn’t a smoothie either, it’s a milkshake and tastes like it’s flavouring rather than frozen fruit. Avoid.
They refused to serve my iced coffee with ice - claiming that they normally only put ice cream in ice coffee, and that they would charge me extra if I wanted ice. Take note that I paid $25 for 3 coffees
Pretty bad coffee, Vanilla slice had a scrambled custard.
The space is noisy and uncomfortable.
Great cafe in central location. Quick, friendly service of quality food and liquid gold. Coffee
Surprisingly good food. I didn't expect much from a cafe in a homemaker centre but was pleasantly surprised. Service was not slow, food was tasty and coffee very decent. Healthy food choices available (my family includes diabetic, dairy free and gluten free and we all had good options). Also possible to get something takeaway to then eat by the playground 20 metres away. Bathrooms also adjacent.
Even when they are the only one open for coffee, during a car show. They handle the coffee crowd, like true professionals.
