One of the cheapest fish n chip shops about. Dont charge an arm and a leg, like most these ridiculous places charging restaurant prices. Food is always good.

Shocking …dry chicken clearly over cooked and sitting there for awhile and for a $5 small salad there was bearly anything in the container.

Havent had much. Generally speaking the food is as would expect from a chicken store.

Steak sandwich though. Love to bits how you can bite through it and doesn't pull sandwich apart. Had quite a few now. Always super tender.

Great food, but opening times are a lucky dip. 3 times I've gone there now, only to find them closed for no reason, other places were open. Don't think I'll bother again

Great food but the staff are a bit stand-offish. Been going here for 3 years and still can't get a "hello"

Fish was good size, reasonably crispy but would like the fat drained a little longer before wrapping. Chips were great and plentiful. Excellent prices.

Good chicken/fish shop. Chips are very nice complimented with a nice chicken salt. They do really tasty calamari rings too. I must say prices are really affordable.

Country Rooster was open when everything else was closed, so I gave it a go. Pleasantly surprised at the quality, friendly service and reasonable price.

They used to be quite good, but it seems to be going downhill a bit. The workers are lacking decent customer service, when you call up to order, they are very hard to understand. The chips (if you don't ask for them well-done) are often not cooked enough and the chicken can be dry. On the odd occasion they can be alright, depending on who is working at the time.

Totally inedible over cooked old fish and soggy chips, old oil taste and totally revolting meal for $30, Don't go

The chicken caesar salad is pretty good as is the rest of the food. I've never been disappointed

Rudest staff ever on the phone and my partner was greeted with ‘what do you want’ when he picked up the order. Won’t be going back due to the rudeness of the fat Asian lady serving and the food was sub par at best

Perhaps the cleanest kitchen I know of. They do consistently great chook n chips. Are fast and friendly. If you want my hot tips, go either the family meal or chicken schnitzel pack.

Chicken was good, but the chips were rather average. Might as well go to the Golden Chicken place up top.

We bought two seafood packs (butterfish, calamari, prawns, chips, tartare sauce and lemon). The packs were massive and we couldn't finish it as we were so full! Definite value for money.

The place is messy, gravy tastes watered down and the seafood stocks are tiny. This place used to be good until the new owners took over. We will never shop here again.

One of the best chicken + chip shops out there! The prices are decent, and the chips are to DIE for. The fish and chicken are also extremely good!

The management has changed hands as far as chicken shops good its a high pass. New chips are better than the old ones.
