Went for breakfast during the week with a group of 7. Food was really nice but didn't come out together, some of us had finished before others got their meal.

The food was absolutely delicious like bloody amazing and bonus the food took about 5 minutes to come after ordering even though the place was full. Our waitress was so sweet and kind.very very happy!

Food, coffee and service are top-notch. Great atmosphere and vibe. Most of the dishes served looked amazing. Very busy lunch spot.

Wanted to build my own bowl and this request was accommodated for which made me very happy! Got the Belgium waffles which were chewy and crispy, fluffy creamy scrambled eggs, and golden sweet maple syrup. All of this washed down with a cup of iced latte (which was nutty and flavourful with a light clean finish). There were some issues with the bill but the staff were lovely and handled everything very well!

Ordered a chocolate milkshake. Despite not being busy at the time, they took a long time (15+ minutes) to bring my order to me.

Was given free table water in the meantime, which was nice. The milkshake was pretty good when it finally arrived, but not "wait 15+ minutes" good.

The worst customer service I have experienced in this place. Rude and disrespectful. I ordered a juice and my glass was 80% ice instead of juice

If I can give zero star, I would. Horrible staff, terrible service. We came here for a brunch, ordered, had a 50mins wait and still wasn’t served. Asked the grumpy waitress with long fake eyelashes, who had no smile on her face, why the delay and she said the “food will be coming soon”. We waited for another 10mins, walked up to the front desk and the lady over there said the docket didn’t come through. Like seriously, you saw us seated down, waiting for food for that long and nobody cared to ask why the delay. If we didn’t go up to the front desk to ask probably we would have stayed there for two hours or more waiting for scrambled eggs and toast. The worst service ever! Please before going there read the reviews, I wish I did. Some others have complained about this distasteful tactics.
PS: they knew we were going to leave a review and they quickly locked their review for some hours. Very dodgy and disgusting act.

Wonderful place in a nice area. We had such an awesome brekkie here and the quality of the food was perfect. The staff was more than friendly as well, which left a great experience for all of us.

Amazing customer service from the start till the end. The food was delicious and huge portions. Definitely get your money's worth here. The food was well seasoned, eggs poached to perfection. Each element was deliberate and exectuted well, varying flavours and texures all complimenting each other.

The blonde waitress ‘Aly’ treated us so poorly. I’ve genuinely never experienced someone acting so rude unprovoked before I was so shocked and uncomfortable. My partner and I made and online table booking for 2pm on Christmas Eve. When we arrived we were ‘greeted’ (and I use that very loosely) by the blonde waitress who told us in the rudeness manner that if we weren’t aware they were closing early at 3 that day. She barely greeted us and pointed us to a table staring ‘you can sit over the there’ with such disgusting attitude. After we sat down she then came up behind my partner and reminded us again that they were closing at 3, rolling her eyes as she walked away. The blonde girl cam back to our table with our coffees practically yelling back my order at me, I couldn’t believe the way she was speaking to me. Mind you we had been friendly and not provoked her in any way. I was so uncomfortable at this point and contemplated leaving but our food was on its way. She then came back to our table with our food order. Rather than clearing our coffees from the table first she spoke to me as if I was a child telling by me to lift up the tray my chai latte was on so she could put down my food and take the tray away. Had she asked this in a normal manner it would have been okay but the way she spoke to me was so patronising and condescending. I didn’t even touch my food before asking the other brunette waitress to bring us takeaways containers as I felt too uncomfortable to stay there any longer. Please pass on the message to your waitress that it does not take a lot to be kind to people especially around this time of the year. I don’t know if she was going through something that day or is generally such a mean spirited person. If we wanted to be treated like that we would have gone to Karen’s Diner. I’ve never experienced this kind of unprovoked rudeness at a cafe ever especially to on any of the establishments in Prospect road. Tell your waitress to do better. If she thinks that is an appropriate way to act she is in the wrong industry.

Attention owner!

The blonde worker with the 10cm long eye lashes needs to learn a bit of tact and business ethic to how she treats your customers!

Get rid of her and your coffee place with be a better place.

Thanks

Cotto is a great place to visit if you are into food and coffee. It is done of the best coffee that you can get in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. The food is amazing and the portion sizes are huge. Staff are friendly and really helpful.

Jun22 update - probably the best breakfasts in Adelaide.

Excellent breakfast options and coffee. Special mention for the cornbread and salsa in the chorizo brekkie.

Cozy cafe with indoor and outdoor seatings. Best to make a booking as it gets busy. Pretty mug of mocha. Looks really professional. The fritters were really good. Bit mushy but flavours were great. Cornbread with chorizo go well together. Overall a good brunch experience with friendly, attentive staff

What an awful, rude place this has become. I took my elderly mother in
there this morning and the little blonde waitress could not have been ruder, less friendly or more dismissive if she tried. We ordered a coffee a chai latte for mum and a few pieces of toast. They served a cold chai latte, and an ok coffee, but took an eternity to deliver the toast and when it finally arrived it wasn’t actually toast at all, but rather two pieces of un-toasted, hard, dry, moderately warm bread. I asked if they could toast the bread to which they agreed with a scowl, and after taking them back for about 15-20 minutes, they eventually delivered the exact same pieces of bread, but harder, drier and significantly less appealing (if that was possible) than before. My mum tried buttering and biting into one of the pieces but it was like a brick, completely inedible and almost shattered her teeth in the process. I mentioned this when leaving to which I received no apology, just more rude scowls from the waitress, “chef” and barista. I visit my mum who lives around the corner from Cotto, from Victoria a few times a year and we’ve often gone to this same cafe but have never encountered such poor treatment before, either they’ve changed management, the place is just in terminal decline, or both. For God sake, we just wanted a few bits of nice toast and a coffee, hardly too difficult. We’ll never be back that’s for sure!

We went there this morning to have a breakfast for the first time as we normally try any restaurant here in Prospect area and it wasnt bad decision. They have an excellent customer service and dont ask about the food, it was really big portion and i love it. It was delicious. Will definietly coming back here again to try another menu.

Coffee outstanding. Brekky, who burns bacon? Really! The Son ordered the Pancakes, he didn't finish them. Tells me the shake and make pancakes at Woollies are better.
