Got carded twice, once at the front entrance as expected nothing wrong with that but then once again by a snooty woman near the foodcort, I beleave uts because im homeless just trying to get some cheep food for the day, decided to go elsewhere for my food today, I'll be back but I'm too angry to wait 15 minutes for a hotdog today

Staff here is training to discriminate and when asked they respond obnoxiously and with a very disrespectful attitude

Used to love coming here but it’s steadily declining in value. A lot of changes recently and not for the better. Finding less reasons to shop here anymore.

Really bad experience in Costco, they are not allowed to bring any food even it is fully packed, I just bought two Vietnamese bread and the staff said not allowed to bring any food when you entering, but today is very hot and I parked very far, I tried to explain you not selling any Vietnamese bread and today is very hot, if I leave the rolls in car I don’t think I can eat them.but the staff just keep saying: sorry, it’s not allowed, please put back all of your things to ur car? So, if not allowed to bring any food could you please set storage cabinets inside?

Won’t be entering Adelaide store again.
I had a bag from Kmart with 1 pair of shoes and a pair of socks. Was told when I went to enter I couldn’t go in with the bag from Kmart neither can be purchased at Costco. What a joke. So I left and went to JB Hifi. Your loss Costco.

Costco is going from bad to bad to worse.
1- Now they forbid entry with other shopping.and what am I to do with my other shopping if my car is at other end of the parking lot or I am on foot? Then why is there a shopping center at all? If I must return to my car or home after every shop then I might as well drive to the next shop, no need to have shopping center if I can't do all my shopping at once.
2 - At the queue to self service checkout they demanded I showed my membership card. I already presented it at the entry! I will have to scan the card at the checkout. WHY present the card at the queue? What is the obsession with the membership anyway? I was without trolley with my hands occupied by a few items and they still insisted I present the bleeping card, so I had to put my shopping on the floor so I can reach my wallet and present the card. There is no human factor nor common sense, they work like robots and treat customers like cogs.
3 - the receipt checks at the exit! What is that for? A huge line of customers trying to exit and the only guy checking receipts is taking his time in turns either with small talk to leaving customers or chatting about plans for weekend to the other employee just across at the entry. They don't match content to receipt. Is their job just to instill the mindset of submission?
Costco is getting ruder and stupider with every visit.

Almost every visit i had to Adelaide Costco left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. The entire shopping ordeal felt like an exercise in patience-testing, with numerous issues plaguing what should have been a straightforward visit.

To start with, the checkout process was an absolute nightmare. The waiting time seemed never-ending, as I found myself in an unending line, surrounded by equally exasperated shoppers. It's as if they intentionally designed the checkout area to induce a sense of helplessness and irritation. The lack of efficient staff was painfully evident; it felt like there were more empty registers than open ones. Clearly, the management's decision to cut costs by understaffing the checkout counters has resulted in a direct hit to the customer experience.

But the checkout ordeal was only the beginning. Exiting the store turned out to be another frustrating endeavor. Having to line up yet again just to have my receipts checked before leaving the premises was beyond aggravating. It's as if the management assumed that their customers have nothing better to do than stand in lines for the sheer thrill of it. The whole process reeked of inefficiency and a lack of consideration for the customers' time.

Adding insult to injury, finding available staff to assist with inquiries about products was an exercise in futility. It's almost as if the entire floor was a desert devoid of helpful employees. The few staff members I did spot were frantically scurrying around, clearly overburdened by the insufficient workforce. It's disheartening to see hardworking employees stretched thin

Perhaps the most disheartening aspect of the entire experience was witnessing the visibly exhausted staff. It's clear that they were giving their all, struggling to keep up with the demands of a store that was severely understaffed.

Keep your receipts to leave store as I had food at snack bar and threw away receipt not a good idea as I was held up for about 15 minutes

Very hot day. Costco inviting. Cool and lots of bargains. Must congratulate cashier Kodari S who was a delight, very helpful and full of fun. An asset to your Company.

It's a costco. Limited range but cheap for what it has. But be prepared to buy in bulk. The store itself is similar to all the world over in layout and look. Generally have a pretty short wait at the checkouts.
Plenty of car parking. And they are large car parks and left plenty of space so shouldn't end up with too many bumps in your door.
If live close, membership is worth it for the petrol discount.

Despite the problem in finding a parking spot, this location was not as busy as we are used to. Only a couple of people in front at checkout. Watermelon was very expensive at $21, we normally pay $5 (cad). It seemed that there was a shortage of some items, especially seafood, empty shelves? Store was clean and well laid out, much better range of lighting products than in Mississauga, and most are daylight or switch selectable. Staff very helpful and friendly as well as knowledgeable. Well worth the visit.

Costco always have stock of the items I need. Their produce, meat and ready meals are always fresh and affordable. They had yummy Vietnamese Rolls in the restaurant today! So yummy.
Fuel is always one of the cheapest around also.

Shopping here is great for bulk buying.
Go shopping online and get same prices and free delivery!

Lots of Xmas stuff out now, made me feel 10 again. Plenty of everything as usual. And of course finish the day with a sundae

Mega line outside of Costco due to staff inefficiency. The line is in front of the trolleys so you have to cross the line twice. The line is DUE to the trolley system and poor check in system.

They don't allow people who don't need to wait for a trolley to casually walk in. Wait is over 2 hours.

Easy, large size parking spaces. Pleasant, willing to assist staff with their wide range of products!

Excellent choice of products excellent customer service and great facilities. I would have liked to see some flavoured milk in the milk store but other than that all ok.

Really disappointed with the fruits & vegetables! They are not fresh at all! We bought some oranges & onions! Ended up throwing most of them out! It's a shame!

On April 2021,
I went to Costco at the church hill centre (church hill rd in South Australia) I was up front with the staff checking membership cards at the entrance that my card had expired and that I wanted to have a quick look he said that I can't without a current membership, which is fair enough, however, I walked into the other entrance to go to the membership counter and the staff member that I spoke to let's just call him my hero came into the other entrance and pointing me out to the other staff member at the door continuously saying "his not a member" as I was standing in the queue at the Membership desk, so I turned around and walked up to the other door man and told him that clearly I'm not aloud in the building without a membership and I'm not aloud to even go upto the membership counter, he was more of a customer friendly person and said I could go to membership counter, I told him clearly I'm not according to him (the other staff member my hero) I said I'd go to Harvey Norman and Aldi instead.
After leaving I phoned and spoke to someone regarding the incident they said they would escort me to the membership counter, I told him he should speak to the staff member that has in issue with non and prospective members entering the building even to attend the membership counter. He said he " WOULD NOT" I asked what his name was and he hung up on me

I will Never Renew My Membership Now.
