Coonawarra Motor Lodge

Clean, quiet. Very close to town & wineries. Enjoyed our stay. No pool but there is a public pool in town.

Room was very clean (such a relief). Bed was comfortable. Nice shower, but rose is low. Would we stay again? Definitely. Recommend.

Basic room, laundry for washing, toaster, kettle, microwave. Owners very friendly. Room very clean. Bbq area, with tables & chairs

Very well priced. Comfortable and quiet accomodation. The reception stayed open quite late allowing us to check in after their normal closing hours. Very friendly on our arrival and took the time to give us some great recommendations on where to go for dinner.
After we had left they called to let us know we had left our own pillows behind. Very pleased with service provided.

Centrally located in Penola, with spacious and well appointed rooms. Also have excellent outdoor BBQ area which is licensed. Great place to base yourself to take in all that Coonawarra wine region has to offer.

We stayed here after completing our Aussie Camino walk. Lovely aspect, the grassy courtyard and garden reminded us of our a stay in the French countryside a number of years ago.
Remember to ask about using the BBQ.

Year after year when we are in the area Coonawarra Motor Lodge is the only place we will stay. Excellent rooms and friendly service from Max and Diane.

Clean tidy rooms. About 7 minutes walk to the town centre and probably the same to the two wineries at the edge of town.

Stayed here for work. Good sized rooms, especially those on the first floor which have huge patio style windows that lead onto a balcony and pitched ceilings which add to the sense of space. Room had a good queen sized bed, TV, kettle, microwave and cutlery. Shower is good, but the head is set at about 170cm, so is a bit low. All in all a nice place to stop.

Great quality rooms at excellent prices. Professional and friendly staff will be looking after you.
