Great old Pub in a nice Little Old Town. Good service.nice meals. Allow Caravans to stay overnight out back if you are a patron.

Stopped to get food, took 1.5hr to get our orders. Wouldn’t recommend it if you’re stopping for a quick bite on long travels.

Extremely disappointed, made reservations 1 mth in advance, came from the Mornington penninsula Melbourne a 7 hr drive to get here very tired and it's closed, looks better on the website, no phn calls or emails, now to find somewhere else this time in the afternoon, prob just as well this place is a mess!

This hotel is a real gem: honest, clean, quiet, with comfy bed & hot shower. TV in your room and continental breakfast as well. Food menu great, with Sunday night pizza night deliciously satisfying.
Will happily stay again & highly recommended.

Takeaway bottle of wine. Old fashioned salad bar. Kids eat free Monday and Tuesday included real calamari rings and a sunday ice-cream! The adult meal was lovely and everything was well priced also. Great service, friendly staff.

This might be a 2 star hotel but the bed was comfy, the shower was hot, the food was great and the local atmosphere was awesome. A breakfast area, with food complimentary were definite bonuses with this motel located on the Hwy between Vic and SA. Definitely a 5 star experience for our expectations/price

A lovely young couple who go out of their way to make sure their guests are comfortable. The meals were great value and served with a smile. It is great to see a couple making their dream a reality.

Fantastic value for a nights stay with breakfast. Bring your earplugs for a great nights sleep. Owners are friendly and helpful and are making a big effort to improve an old but sturdy hotel.

This is an older hotel that is in the process of renovating. Rooms are very clean, beds are comfy, and they have great value for the accommodation and food. Staff were very friendly and accomadating with the requests we made. Dinner was really good.

Stopped in Overnight on our way to Melbourne. We were blown away by the service. The staff/publicans were so warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely top notch. The menu is very decent, it even caters to vegetarian and vegans. The presentation was above and beyond and we just could not fault it. I'd go as far as saying it's the best pub I've been to in a long while. Just a shame its so far away haha. The only things is that the rooms could use some love (which I believe they are in the process of doing anyway, you can see they are putting in a big effort), but they are pretty reasonable for the price, they are clean, and provide everything you need in regards to amenities etc. If we swing back past this way we would definitely stop in again. The Hospitality and Service is A+.
The staff and owners made us very welcome and went above and beyond for our needs.
The food is incredible and fresh.
The hotel itself is big with a big beer garden.
Definitely going back again.

Great stop on the way home from Perth, lovely food great bar and the people who run it are so friendly. Fresh room and will stot here again.

Perfect place to stay when you have been driving for hours. Has basic rooms and have amazing food for dinner.

A brillant little country pub with a great atmosphere and meal choices.
Free camping out the back on there property.

We called into the Pub for a $14 snitz & we weren't disappointed, they were yummy. We got there early, the publican was friendly, we parked our bus out the back and made a night of it. Thanx Coonalpyn Hotel for your hospitality. We will be back

Limited by Covid restrictions to takeaway meals at present, which are very good in quality and price. I am a local so accomodation has not been necrssary.

Fantastic end to our trip back to Melbourne. Great family run rest point. The arancini balls were good and the service was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and the bars open till late.

A great country pub with all the associated atmosphere. The main bar was full of locals who were super noisy. It added to the charm.
There was a dining room with salad bar and families.
Wednesday was Parma night.see the attached menu. Great value, a huge meal and cooked to perfection. Available as chicken or beef. If you are travelling through, pop in for a meal. I recommend it.
