Coobowie Hotel

There isn’t a visit that has gone by where I haven’t smiled when entering the front bar of the Coobowie Hotel. The owner, Cheree, knows what beer you’re having after a round or two and has it ready to go when you’re ready for another. Prices are the best down this end of the peninsula. Food is always great and you’re always going to meet some of the amazingly friendly locals in the front bar any day of the week. This is a truly great country pub and well worth stopping in at.

Got the seafood basket and was really good, good value for money. Meals didn't come with salad but garnish (a few salad leaves and orange slice)

I can't remember the last time I had a meal out and thoroughly enjoyed every element on all 3 plates. The scallop entree was amazing. The calamari schnitzel with garlic prawns sauce was an equal winner. The fisherman's platter was all locally caught and thoroughly enjoyable as well. Thank you money well spent

Lovely meals, not huge serves but extra care taken, plus 2 hot bread rolls with real butter, yummy

Love this little pub. Always meet some nice characters for a chat, the beer is cold and Sherree, the Publican, is a nice lady. Always friendly service, and the food is good too.

We travelled from Port Clinton, stayed at Edithburgh, we were looking for somewhere for lunch and couldn't have found a better place for a great meal, beats the Troubridge at Edithburgh hands down and thankyou Sheree, you were a wonderful hostess

Took an hour and 15 to receive our meals, however when we received our meals they were good quality meals.

Great local pub. Tried the squid schnitzel and was not disappointed, was very tasty and fresh. Definitely worth a visit!

We had a family dinner here on Thursday. All Covid protocols were observed. My partner had the fish of the day, daughter had kids nachos while i had the sweet and sour chilli prawns served with Rice and a papadam. We all enjoyed our meals. Very tasty and well cooked. Price of meals is also fair. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area, make a point of having a meal here. Keep up the great food and service. We will be back some day in the future.

F, riendly atmosphere, that's where it ends, ordered the chicken with diane gravey. The chicken was dry and the gravey was coloured water the other 3 couples had the same issues. Do yourself a favour and save your money, give this dump a miss,

Wonderful meal, I had the scallops and they were excellent, my wife had the King George Whiting and it was equally good. The staff was on the run as the restaurant was quite busy, but we never felt neglected. We will come here again when we return to the Yorke Peninsula.

Will never go back to this Pub again for a meal Was way over priced we spent $67. On two main meals which were B grade A seafood basket and garlic prawns all small and crispy Had to pay extra for side salad

We spent the week in Coobowie and went to this little pub two days in a row! Both Micheal and Sheree were so good to us! Really affordable drink prices, outstanding service, we spent the whole day here one afternoon. What a great small town pub!

Excellent pub with everything you could ever want. Great in-house and takeaway prices, multiple stubby specials ($5!). Sheree (owner) and Michael (all-round good guy) were both very lovely.

Customer service was excellent, atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the food was amazing will definitely go back there
