Probably our third time staying in a powered site here, school holiday time and still everything was great, nice large well looked after grass site.
Steve Kristy do an excellent job, well done guys.

Great location. Everything as it should be. Brilliant operators. Lovely people. Stayed on powered, grassed site. Amenities clean. Laundry and machines clean. Lots of hot water. Wishing I could stay longer!

If you read the recent negative reviews- you probably wouldn’t book- however it’s clear these reviews are all from one disgruntled group of people!

From the moment we rang to book our Easter stay last year the team of Kristy & Steve could not have been more helpful! After having a previous negative experience at a different park they went out of their way to reassure us & ensure our stay was comfortable! Kristy even posted me brochures of the local area!

Arriving Good Friday we had already paid upfront- the team had provided clear instructions & our site details for us! We had drive through sites which were fantastic! The sites were nice & grassy, we had shade from the many tree’s & power & sullage was close!

Facilities were plenty & always clean! The playground for the kids was ideal! Our daughter spent most of her time there!

Kristy & Steve went out of their way to organise activities every day for the families & children celebrating Easter & always ensured every child got something regardless!

These two managers were often seen wondering the park & mingling with guests- making them super approachable!

While there isn’t much to do in Coobowie- Steve & Kristy have us some fantastic places to visit! We actually enjoyed just relaxing in the park & doing nothing much for once!

Pricing for the drive through sites was extremely, extremely reasonable- and the price increase was well communicated 6 months prior- its fully understandable in the current world situation & it was a difference of only $6 per night! Still at $40/night for a powered, grassed drive through site on the Easter weekend- i call that a bargain!

We will definitely be recommending this park to any of our family or friends that are headed to the Yorke Peninsula!

We had a beachfront cabin. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. I was a bit hesitant about booking after reading the bad reviews about the managers but we found them ok.

Great little caravan and camping park with good facilities. Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Toilets and showers always clean as is communal area. Would come back for sure

Always our go to, we have stayed here close to 10 times over the years and have never been disappointed, amenities always clean and tidy and the managers are great,

I had been really looking forward for this trip and was excited throughout the whole week but all that excitement went through the window on the 25th. While admittedly there were rules that were not adhered to, it would’ve been nice if the managers talked to us nicely about it. We were having a Christmas party that everyone including myself and the kids present really looked forward to. A little consideration would’ve been great and whatever the concern was should’ve been communicated to us properly. The issue here was not that we were told off for what we did, rather for the way they confronted us about it. The situation wouldn’t have escalated if only the managers were calm and nice in pointing out our mistakes as we would have immediately corrected it anyway.

We relied on the this campground's good reviews amd ended up leaving quite disappointed. The campground was packed, our unpowered tent-site was unfortunately fully exposed to the strong winds, as it was located right next to an empty property. The fridge in the common kitchen was not very clean and the kitchen not very inviting. There was a 3 day min booking requirement and we ended up staying one night and leaving. Maybe it would have been different with a different tent site, but for us the experience just wasnt great. Plus point: The staff was amazing though.

There is a saying "A little bit of kindness goes a long way" unfortunately the manager didn't know that. Probably did the opposite.

Pro: Big rooms, Nice view from the beach and on christmas if you're asian, there's a chance you can see a real life Grinch

Extremely DISAPPOINTED. We booked in June 2022 and paid a deposit at their advertised rates for the peak season. Late November they emailed saying there’s a price increase from 1 Jan 2023. When we emailed to make sure it was only for new bookings (as most people would assume), we were told that it was for anyone staying after the 1st of Jan 2023. When we were emailed the new invoice, our increase was 20% on our original booking. The communication back from the park was routinely dismissive of the increase and really only wanted to know if we’d pay the increase or cancel so they could get someone else in to pay it. I also pointed out that even in mid December 2022, they still had their prices from June 2022 on their website - this was rectified almost overnight. It was also pointed out to them that nowhere on their website or in their terms and conditions did it state that they can change their prices whenever they want, this was also rectified by the park overnight once highlighted to them.

Beware that if you book here, and pay a deposit, they can increase their prices whenever they want, and not seem to care that they may be making a holiday unaffordable for families on tight budgets. We had been saving towards a specific monetary amount for 6 months to be told 5 weeks out, during an already financially stressful time of the year, that the price point had changed and we had to adhere to the new tariff or cancel the booking. One would question the purpose of a deposit (or even advertising a price) on a booking if changes like this can be made so close to a planned stay.

Will not recommend this park to anyone and will never stay here.

We looked at the camp selected by the score, and I doubt the score. Obviously, it is not worthy of good evaluation. There are not many trees in the park, especially we are arranged to be completely exposed to the sun. There are no trees. In the 40 degree weather, we sleep in an oven during the day, and the wind is particularly strong at night. This made my Christmas trip very unpleasant. The two managers of the park were very rude. We didn't seem to be on holiday, but were monitored at any time in prison. Said it was a pet friendly camp, I didn't feel any friendliness. It is suggested that you do not choose this place as your foothold.

I do not want to speak for the overall experience this caravan park may provide to its customers, but the brief interaction the managers had with our group was very displeasing. There could have been a better, more professional way of dealing with this whole situation and how we could have amended it in the most amicable of ways, but instead we were met with a presence that may as well be equivalent to threatening to kick us out AT THE FIRST OFFENSE. Unfortunately disappointing.

A great week-end spent in the cabins enjoying a first rate view over the beach. Cabin was extremely well presented

Managers are so friendly and helpful. The amenities are spotless and the camp kitchen fantastic. Highly recommended.

Pleasant happy and helpful managers. Beautiful, sites with good sized sites poweredand non powered and a decent number of cabins. Clean and well kept amenities. Good enough that we decided to stay and extra 4days. Great prices too!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Managers, Steve and Kristy were fantastic. The park was well maintained and facilities were spotless. Level lawn site and just a short walk to the beach. Very dog friendly also. Close to shop and pub.

The owners are very accommodating and lovely. Very clean toilet block, small playground for the kids, clean camp kitchen. We are very much enjoying our stay
