Concord/States Road Playground reviews
8 Big open spaces for kicking the footy.
Playground suitable for U8's.
However the flying fox was a saving grace and okay for a couple of rides for my U12 grandie.
No toilets but undercover table with seats.
Kids love this playground as "the flying fox playground" because it has a flying fox that works. Few shaded areas for a picnic as well as plenty of grassed area for other activities.
The Concord/States Road Playground is a lovely place to go with kids or friends. The park has a great long flying fox and other great play equipment. The place also has seating space so great place for party's and picnics, it also has a drink fountain with a step so even smaller kids can reach the fountain. The playground is easy to find with a view from the road and a nice path to lead you to it, just watch out for ants if there is any. Hope this review is helpful.
Good feels nice, lots of green spaces and a clean place will do that.
Good flying fox.
SG suggests a slide replace the metal rings though (council)
The best thing about this park is the flying fox. There's paved footpaths, a whirly thing, climbing frame, swings, see-saw and a covered bench area in the middle.
No public toilets. One drinking fountain. It is close to a busy road and an internal road. Keep an eye on your kids at this park - no fences.
The kids love the flying fox at this park, has a shelter with seating & table. The playground could be upgraded & it could do with a barbecue area as well
Its ok, very large reserve, playground is small, 2 swings, some circular equipment that's not so easy to get it to spin because it is set at an angle and small, there is a zipline (flying fox) which doesn't get far enough up the ramp to get on easily, and an abrupt stop at the end, typical lack of council funds spent here, how about making it more fun for the kids, bindys everywhere on the reserve, and nowhere nice to sit and enjoy a picnic or whatever
