Very relaxing pub every man and dog were there and just having a quiet beer with a mate can't get any better then that

We had dinner here tonight.
The food and drinks were excellent and enjoyable.
The staff were polite and attentive.
It was quiet and enjoyable to eat.
Was an excellent view out over the river.
It's an excellent place to enjoy a meal at.
I recommend trying this place.

Had their schnitzel was amazing even though they f'D the veg and turned it into salad. Good pub good meals.

Stopped in for a nice lunch, had a chicken snitzel and mixed grill, both meals were perfectly cooked, service was great and the staff very friendly.

Grateful to have a room for that night but mine really needed attention. Carpets were torn and bedspreads were old and stained. I also could not bear the smell of the cooking which wafted into my room. Shared kitchen could do with some signs to remind people to put their used cutlery into the washing tub instead of the cutlery draw. Other than that, the staff were kind and accommodating and the hotel is in a lovely location overlooking the river. The shared bathroom is dated but clean with a great shower.

Didnt stay just had lunch. Had the bbq bacon burger and it was great. Would recommend for lunch

We booked in for dinner with a group of around 20 people. I felt that the food took a long time to arrive.

One person in the group ordered salmon and it was raw. It was sent back and was fixed.

The person who brought out the dishes was completely overwhelmed and had to keep going back to check which table the order was for.

The location is great. It has an awesome country pub vibe to it.

Classic old school pub with great service, tasty food and cold drinks all served by friendly staff. Tremendous location for enjoying the local area.

Lovely country pub in wonderful riverside setting. Asked for a rare steak.great cut of meat & cooked to tender perfection. Garlic prawn topper was great. Vegies good. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff. Highly recommended. Think we'll stay another night in Morgan & go back for another perfect steak.

Unfortunately this was a lengthy experience near on 30 minutes waiting to get a menu and table pnly to be told to go pick a table yourself when the sign says go to the bar to get a table.the baked fish was pretty good for the price at $21 but $31 for the so called seafood platter in the picture was cooked ok but for 3 prawns, 3 scallops, and 2 bits of broken over battered fish is appalling for the value. Wanted to go the the Thursday night snitty night but based on this we will give it a miss.

We stayed one night at this hotel. Although we booked in advance, the reception didn't expect us and wanted to charge us a price more than what we booked.
The room isn't really clean but since the building is so old is acceptable. The share facilities were clean and reasonable. The guest room and kitchen was good.
The main problem is that it was too noisy at night because there are two pubs downstairs and they are open until midnight.

I had fishmens basket one of the best I every had the meals were quick. Very happy staff. Nice old hotel

They were wonderful to us. We were a big family and we were running very late but they looked after us really well. The service was friendly and it was without a doubt the best Chicken Schnitzel I have ever had:). Thank you.

Friendly staff in a good clean environment. I had the tasty stuffed chicken breast and the wife had beef snitzel which was a little bit tough.

Nice pub. Great food. I love me a good country pub. I ordered my current favourite meal - a crumbed steak. Awesome. Sorry I had already started before I remembered to take a photo.

If you’re in Morgan why would you want to eat anywhere else

We were looked after famously this evening and left with a full tummy and a happy feeling

We definitely would come here again

Great pub, friendly staff and other patrons, can't beat country people to roll out the welcome mat. Food was fantastic.
If you passing through stop for a feed you will not be sorry.
