Great motel room, great shower, loved the pool. Walking distance to supermarket. Great location. Would definitely stay again.

We were so happy about our stay in the family room. Nice and tidy room with all amenities in great condition. Great value for money and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of everything. Would highly recommend for your next stay in Mt Gambier.

Walls are paper thin. Could hear loud pipe noises every time the neighbours used water and hear them partying late at night

Great hotel. We were so excited to stay for one night here after camping around SA in our camper trailer last summer. The room was clean and tidy plus large enough for the four of us - two adults and two primary school aged kids. Kids had a swim in the pool here which they enjoyed.

The next day, we left our camper here in the carpark during the day while sightseeing around - we asked the front office first to ensure this was OK. They were great and because they weren't booked out, allowed us to do so. Definitely recommend.

I’ve stayed at the newly renovated rooms a few times. Smart TVs are great! Electric blanket is great when you don’t want to use the air conditioner. The staff are fantastic! Maddie is a legend!

I’ve tried the steak here and I wasn’t a fan. $30+ for a steak not cooked medium rare, cut into 3 pieces No flavour with sauce either. Tried the Ragoo pasta thing and that was nothing special either. That’s enough for me trying food from here but love the accommodation and staff!

Stayed overnight as a stop for a roadtrip. Clean, modern rooms. Excellent efficient service. Great location. Good price.

Reception on check in was friendly, accomodating our late arrival around 8pm. Location is great. Room was clean however the bathroom was disgusting. Bathroom ceiling was covered with dead bugs/mosquitos all over it, creeping down to shower overhead. Made a complaint to Reception only to be told, just email it with our photos. We were travelling with our 2 kids, only booked for 1 night and we could not even shower while we were there, it was terrible. After we left, we emailed them, and received no response until today. Very disappointing. Will not ever come back.

A reliable budget accommodation where the facilities are clean and accessible with all the comforts of home.

We were on a family vacation so had the family room which was very clean & tidy, good towels, hot water & the beds were very comfortable. The outside was kept very neat & tidy. The motel was very close to all amenities.food, shopping centres & tourist attractions. Would highly recommend.

Looks fantastic with the new bar and renovation. Great food. Fried chicken wings and gnocchi are must tries!

A nice hotel, it looks much much better inside than it was looked from outside. Clean room, nice friendly staff.located at the edge of town centre. Definitely in walking distance to the business area in town.

The only downside was they advertise Netflix / foxtrot etc but we couldn’t use these features and when we asked they said too many people are using it. If advertising need to allow for all rooms to have this feature
Overall we would come back

Middle aged blonde lady at reception was extremely rude, to the point of raising her voice when I queried why if I booked through booking.com it was cheaper than booking direct.
I then tried to make conversation about the current renovations and she ignored me!

Room was dated and the shower so filthy you could see a line of dirt across the bottom section.
The Venetian blind was twisted and bent which allowed anyone passing by to be able to see in.

Not worth the money and I wouldn’t stay there again.

Worst sleep we’ve had in a long time. All throughout the night we kept hearing this loud pitchy sound (I recorded it and showed it to the manager) coming from a broken pipe in the room next to ours. In the middle of the night I went to reception to inform them of this but there was no one there. At 6AM we decided to just give up trying to sleep. At check out, I mentioned the incident to the receptionist and the manager and they agreed to give us a refund, given that we had had little to no sleep. It’s been over 2 weeks and we are still waiting. Poor customer service to say the least.

The rooms are clean but the bathrooms are a it outdated. The staff were super nice but there’s lots of renovations going on at the moment that we weren’t aware of. The walls are super thin so we could hear kids running up and down outside screaming at the crack of dawn.

It’s perfect if you’re only passing through Mt Gambier but I wouldn’t be staying there any longer.
