4One of my favourite places. I lived overlooking the Kensington Gardens reserve on the East Terrace, for 11 years.
A beautiful playing ground with plenty of playing fields and very well maintained. There are plenty of trees arround for shades.
There is not enough parking. Roads across the park are very narrow and parking on both sides means you cannot get through.
Had a nice primary school cricket tournament and at a time more than 5/6 teams were playing cricket comfortably.
Colonel waite oval is one of the three ovals in Kensington Gardens reserve. Stonefell Creek is passing by it. Some playgrounds nearby. There are also a lot of tennis courts, bowling courts, basketball courts and so on. The environment is very beautiful. It's very suitable for sports. There are lots of parking lots and parking spaces, which is very convenient.
