Had a hamburger and the meat patty was that thin a maccas cheeseburger patty is thicker, tasted terrible. Not just a once off either

Ordered Delivery a few times and each time it has not been good.
Food was cold and soggy by the time it was delivered. The fish tasted rubbery and the batter was burnt. The chips were very yellow and cold, tasted like it was yesterday’s cooked batch. The fritters are so thin all you can taste is the burnt batter. The salads were nice and fresh.

Lovely food and staff are very friendly. We had the BBQ chicken family pack with extra salad and a yiros.

Absolutely disgusting food and service. I am very disappointed to say the least and will not be returning here again! Need to train your younger staff as I was spoken very abruptly by a 6 foot girl with dark hair. Very unprofessional.

Food was nice although not much personality from the guy working there. Lady was nice and gave a big smile. Tip given for the smile and friendliness of the lady working.

Just ordered a meal through menulog - did not receive what I asked for - very disappointed. Really did not care when I called to ask why, paid for a meal that I can not eat - feel as it was late they gave me what was left and not what I wanted. Will not use or recommend.

Oh thank goodness, the traditional Aussie takeaway fish and chips and chicken shop survives - and in the case of Collinswood Chicken and Seafood, thrives!

With a fantastic range of takeaway chicken, chips, seafood, burgers, coleslaw and desserts, and staffed by the friendliest and hardest working team you are ever likely to see, this is definitely my go to place for an easy dinner, or a guilty pleasure daytime snack!

Located on North East road, it is handy to surrounding suburbs, as well as commuters on the way home from a hard days work. Parking is available as well as indoor and outdoor seating for the convenience of customers waiting for their order.

They are EXTREMELY popular, so I would suggest you ring ahead, but if - like me, you just walk in, the service is fast enough that the wait is not long.

Clean and tidy shop, staff always pleasant, food is good quality nothing fancy but always good.

Food has gone downhill past few weeks. It was great but now cold wet veg, no gravy, & no mash potato, chips are just end pieces. Schnitzels have become tasteless and small.

Hard to find a decent fish and chip shop anymore. If you love chips, go here, go now, it's delicious

I myself as a sensitive eater for my stomach, and a person who takes care of my Heath have I have only experienced the best and the freshest oils they use in their cooking for their chips and all other types of foods and exceptional in the way they cook the chicken.
If I could choose this place to be 10 stars I definitely would because you will be satisfied 100% every time.

Nice meal. Only problem was we paid for more fritters than we got. Would like a refund on the missing potato fritter.

I've been coming here for years and always loved their food. However there is a girl that works there now (long hair, fake eyelashes) and she is the absolute rudest person I've ever had serve me. She never smiles, never greets you, just glares at you and gives one word answers with the most sullen look on her face. I've always wanted to support the business considering the fish shop that opened up and the lack of Foodland. However, I refuse to subject myself to her attitude anymore. She is unbearable. The only time she is on the edge of being polite is if the owner is out the front with her.
The final straw was going in to order schnitzel and she was dealing with dirty boxes. She went straight over without washing her hands and picked up the schnitzel and then flattened it with her hands. How about some basic hygiene?

I ordered the chicken and pineapple burger with small chips, hands down best burger and chips I've had. Anazing price for such a massive burger 10/10

Ive been going here for 13 years. Food is guaranteed to be excellent and staff are very friendly. I dont go any where else.
