Coles Unley reviews
37A small Coles compared to most in Adelaide but still manages to have a decent selection of food. If you arrive late in the day, they often have good deals at the deli counter.
Clean store, item locations a bit strange. Took too long to find what I wanted, but then I usually shop in another brand of store
Clean and tidy, friendly staff, with plenty of space to get around with trolleys. Always stocked up with anything food wise people need. Plenty of parking and in a small shopping complex with a mall on Unley Rd Unley.
Many discounted things, my husband and I love coles Unley and staffs are friendly?
Gift cards from our lovely landlord ️
Very convenient for me. Close to the parking. It is a bit small and no self-checkout. Finding parking in the busy hours could be challenging.
Chell was legend, best deli worker, assisted me patiently and fast, thanks a lot mate! Coles unley
Was less than expected because it is not a big Coles. However, it is way bigger than Coles metro and express. So, you can get way more items, and most of them that the Coles would sell. I was looking for Raw C coconut water, which was not there, so it might not have everything. But, plenty of other stuffs. Don't have a self check-out and few manuals, so in busy times, it might be hard. But hey, it's handy for the people living nearby.
Not a big Coles but has the essentials and it's our local.
Biggest negative however for us and others we were talking to, is having to wait because they have no self service checkouts. We all had to line up with our groceries, stand and wait. They have only a couple operator checkouts. Having no self service makes it slow when wanting to just pay and go.
We have been a couple times but will not come back unless we need to. We travel the short distance instead to castle plaza Coles as they have self service and it's quick in and quick out. Not standing around waiting in a queue.
Please put in a 10 or less register too BUT having 2 or more self service stations would help hugely with the flow of customers.
**Note for the management in this Coles shop location - Do Not get the "conveyor belt" style self service. They are slow too. The single stand alone self services would help alleviate the wait times.
It's not overcrowded and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have good discounts.
It's a nice supermarket. I went there for an item that was listed as in stock on their website and they didn't have it at all so that was quite annoying, but on the way out I saw they were selling chocolates for half price and that made me feel a lot better.
It's a good little store, for a pick up a few extras you might have forgotten. Does not have a great variety but most things you need you will find.
Absolutely the worst Coles in the state. Poorly managed, poorly stocked, and exceedingly poorly staffed. Staff ignore you, gaslight, and turn molehills into mountains - the worst Coles store I have ever come across in this country. Staff are actively rude and intent on causing problems and blaming customers. Needs a change of management and a change of staff.
First time visitor and a great supermarket. Not as busy as I would have thought. Plenty of car parking and a Bank SA next door which is open for people in Hutt st that no longer have a BSA.
This place was very good, " I shall return " as General McArthur said on the Terowie railway station platform.
Relatively smaller store. Still lots of goods available to chose from. Ample parking available.
Very small and cramped but I don't think I'll be going back there. Staff were nice. But I won't be going back. The aisles are cramped and small.
Not that impressed with this store staff are nice but store itself don't particularly like shopping here. Rather shop at another coles store.
The layout and general presentation in this store has improved over the last few months.
The one thing that could still do with improvement though, is customer service at the deli. I was made to wait today, whilst staff, one having clocked off, discussed what they will be doing after work today. Eventually I just left without getting anything from the deli as their after-work activities were clearly more important than serving customers.
Like all Coles stores it has everything you need in a familiar setup. Lots of choices unlike some other brands. Nice and clean with good staff
