Coles Burnside

I am usually not one to complain, however at the checkout I was not treated well at all. An employee with dark hair by the name of 'Brigid' had a huge attitude and did not make me feel welcome. I was greeted with a blank face, and she seemed more interested in talking to her friend than focusing on packing my groceries. When I asked for the price of something, she forcefully said "That's half price" with a blank face. She could have just scanned it? I know it is a hot day but that attitude from an employee should not be tolerated.

I shop here. Coles Burnside is at the south western section of Burnside Village accessed by the eastern western entrance or the underground car park. The store is well laid out and signed so it is relatively easy to find goods or items. Troleys are available to assist with items to the car. This Store includes a bakery section, Delhi, fresh fruit + vegetables, butcher and frozen food sections with good choice. Generally the checkouts ~10 and self serve are seamless.

Best place to shop in Burnside Village along side all other quality shops and access to the parking from three different sides.

Good and upto to regular standards of Coles. Mostly same like any other Coles outlet in the city. Big store, quite spacious and well organized!

Supermarket with large range. Weekly specials, fruit and vegetable, meat, seafood, deli, bakery, dairy, freezer section. Pantry and freezer items.
Drinks, confectionary, baby, health and beauty, household items. Gift cards. Ready prepared meals. Self check out plus operators.

Waited 45minutes for my click and collect with two young kids in the car before having to go in to the service desk to get it sorted. This was after neither the click and collect nor the service desk phone numbers were answered and a coles employee had spoken to me after bringing someone else’s shopping out after I had already waited 15 minutes.

There's 4 ladies at front counter who pick out people and stand over you and even though I haven't finished scanning my shopping, they come straight up and say do you want that shopping, don't forget to scan them. I'm sick of them. And if they see you going to checkout they go up to the other ladies and state this, "watch this one cause its a thief". Sick of them all in there 60s.

This is a Coles supermarket just like every other Coles supermarket, same layout, same products - they are all the same, little variation from store to store!

It's a good supermarket. Pretty much most things food in store. There is one gripe and this has been going on for decades here.
That is the store is constantly running out of various items and then you have to come back to finish your shop a few days later. Bloody frustrating at times.
Staff always seem nice.

Not a good range considering the premier location. Needs to up it's game substantially. Staff ok etc but store Not up to a good standard.

The staff in the bakery section, who directly handle food, never wear a mask. I've raised it multiple times with the official Covid wardens in store, the response is always that they don't know who the manager of that department is.

The quality of the quiche Lorraine in Coles has dropped.
Now they are inedible.
Won't be buying them any more, you can be sure of that.

You need to change your Click & Collect Signage from “We’ll bring your groceries and load them into your car” to We’ll bring your groceries and dump it next to your car”

It's a great store, the fruit and veg section has heaps to offer and it's the only store my husband and i have managed to find the particular chili's we love! There range overall is excellent but the only downside is that this store no longer has a meat deli section, they do however have sliced deli meat pre packaged to purchase. It would be nice to be able to ask for the amount of meat you'd like rather than having to buy either more than you'd need or two packs of you're wanting more than the already packaged portions offer.

The store is just like every other Coles except the staff here have helped hide my child from me for the past year despite court orders that are in place.

It should be "no" star rating.

Today, saw the Nescafe promotion on the self. Bought the product but didn't get the gift.

Approached three staff. They have no idea about the promotion and could not offer any help or explanation.

Even worst, the staff at customer service counter also did the check out. Both are having long queue. Stuck there for half an hour without any solution.

Very bad customer services. Hope they can learn from this case.

Let every single staff know what promotion is running in the store.
