Long time waiting to be served food cold and tasted old we had eggs bebedic unfortunately my son left everything in the plate expensive place bit dirty as well. Overall the service was nice people working there friendly but food could be better and place cleaner. Many people were coughing there not distance measures.
Sorry will not return to eat there.

Wonderful little place, the coffee and especially the hot chocolates are amazing! Will always get one when I go past and the staff always welcome you with a smile.

Forgot to mention just an add on to my review no toilets bit of a mystery you can walk up the road to the beach toilets but if u had a child an if u were midway through a meal really

Coffee was gd location is excellent the Orange juice was fantastic food was nice
Now the cutlery was believe it or not was difficult kept spinning around in your hand couldn't get a grip but altogether a nice experience thanx

Coffee is good but quite pricey. $4.80 for a regular size (in most cafes it would be equal size small). Staff are nice and friendly. I love the interior with unique arts, wooden tables and benches.
Take a note there is NO toilet at the premises. The closes is near the beach.

We had a relaxing breakfast here with good coffee. The vibe is relaxed and the artwork gives the space a modern feel. Love the comfortable lounges and variety of seating styles.

Popped in with my niece visiting from Sydney. We both had the Belgian Hot chocolate one milk and one dark and a toasted croissant. So delicious. Love the decor, so much to take in.

A little update: just had the best coffee of my life. Dee's fermented V-H espresso. Congratulations Dee.you are a coffee genius!

2nd place I visited while on my coffee shop cruise around.

Its a decent sized cafe.lots of seats inside and out. Very warmly welcomed which was nice. Ordered a cold drip but was told they'd not made any.asked for a cold brew same response which was disappointing as the reviews had given it great reviews. So I ordered a latte.

It came out in a tall fluted glass like Id not seen for many many years. The coffee looked a little pale which usually means its going to be on the weaker side and milky tasting which it was which may suit another customers taste but not mine unfortunately. Im pretty sure the coffee would have tasted great if served in a usual sized latte glass that requires less milk but thats just my opinion.

Great coffee and super friendly staff with a great beach vibe. Also great options with a range of coffee blends and the staff are very knowledgeable and were able to explain all the different types to me. Always recommend this place if you're by the beach!

5 stars for the coffee but 3 stars for the food. Feel slightly ripped off paying $16 for the Smashed Avo when you get 2 small pieces of thin toast and a small amount of avo and fetta on just one piece.what the hell? Half the plate is just garnish.

Great coffee, presentation 100% however the melting moment was stale, not sure how.long it's been in the jar for.
Hope the landlord provides them with a reverse cycle aircon as evap obviously not good in this weather.
Pricing of cakes ridiculously high, $6.80 for muffin, seriously.

Took my daughter here for a nice coffee and had a most enjoyable experience. We happened to be the only customers at that moment and the service we received was friendly and outstanding. I love the homely, welcoming and interesting atmosphere of Coffee Journey - everywhere you look is something you can talk about. The decorations and art works change but the coffee seems to always be quite good. The location is only about 250 metres from the beach so you can walk there afterwards or shelter out of the sun and wind if you prefer.
In winter there is a cosy fireplace to get close to, and you can always stock up on some nice beans for home. Keep up the great work Coffee Journey.

Friendly staff and atmosphere although the inside and outside decor felt very grubby and not well kept

Came in today with friends as we heard the food here was delicious.
Worst breakfast we have ever had and the price is absolutely laughable as the food definitely wasn't worth it. Coffee was good. Maybe you shouldn't sell food or stick to sandwiches. And tell the staff to smile more as they clearly look unhappy.

I have never written a review in my life but feel I should as I come here at least once a week and the last 2 weeks I have had a bad breakfast. It has always been great but I have not enjoyed it the last to visits. It has been very greasy and over cooked. I asked if there is a new chef and got told yes in a rude manner. I just want to say if you have a new cook then why can't they cook? I will be back but only for the good coffee. Very disappointing though. Just changed my rating to five stars. I came back yesterday and tried my big breakfast again and was exactly how I liked it. Thanks I'll be back for breakfast only on Mondays now haha.

Friendly but Lazy staff.table wasn't very clean service took a good long while and there wasn't really a lot of people in the shop.staff just stood around not doing much. I think the Cook/Chef brought out our meals.no way to run a business.disappointing.

Will not be going back and telling everyone I know not to either. Sat down at a uncleared table because there was 2 of us and we didn't want to be rude and take the 4 seat table that was cleared. The staff didn't clear it whilst we looked at the menu and had to advise them the table needed to be cleared once we got up to order. Then staff tell us it's a half an hour wait AFTER we pay, which is fine if the cafe was packed.but it wasn't.plenty of empty tables. All this would have been fine if the food was spectacular but honestly could have made a better meal myself. No effort in presentation and small portion sizes. Also staff didn't apologise for long wait once they gave us our food or SMILE once. Disgusted.
