The most incredible place to stop and stay a while.a long while as you taste and enjoy not only the great coffee, but the to-die-for chocolates and jellies made and handcrafted on the premises. The jellies are David Medlow's own original creation. I've never tasted jellies like them. They seriously melt in your mouth. I've bought many packets – as well as some of his incredible chocolates – to give to friends and family over the years, and recommend Coco Laura to all and sundry. As they've developed expand their offerings to include Golden North ice cream and delectable goodies for lunch or a snack, so they have also extended and built a welcoming place to relax, sit back and enjoy a coffee, and indulge in whatever your delight, just off the end of the beautifully restored premises. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I had arranged to meet a friend in Laura for catch-up and a coffee and we chose CocoLaura.
Turns out to be a great place, with a very friendly waitress.

David is a really welcoming Person who will take as much time as you need to answer all your questions. He gave us a tour through his kitchen and showed us how to make chocolate.
We ended the stay with really good milkshakes and a smile on our face.

Very very nice place to go to. Was made to feel welcomed as soon as we walked in. Greeted with a warm smile and wasn't pressured into anything. Thoroughly recommended to anyone going through Laura to call in.

Amazing beautiful & deliciously decadent products. Carefully hand made & crafted with dedicated love & with natural ingredients. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, elegantly & respectfully old fashioned & extremely friendly couple, what a refreshing experience to even walk into this professionally run & owned modern day "Willy Wonker Chocolate Factory", you will feel like you've won the golden ticket. Offerings of tastings & uncovering products processing was truly a honor.

Experience hand made chocolate, sorbet, gelati and coffee. Friendly customer service with a range of sweets to choose from. There would be a lot more to select from earlier in the morning, check out what was available when we arrived late in the afternoon.

Nice fresh presentation in an old shopfrontage in Laura main street. Nice "coffee n cake" stop with chocolate topped slices and other delites in lieu of "cake". Very friendly owner/chocolatier.

We discovered Coco Laura last weekend at Laura, South Australia. We had the pleasure of meeting master chocolatier, David Medlow and his lovely young assistant Jade! We went in looking for ice creams, which they didn't sell, however, Jade accomodated us by making the most amazing, extra thick, ice creamy iced coffees and iced Belgian chocolate any of us have EVER tasted! Yum!
David then gave us a demonstration on making his famous RockyRidge - Milk Chocolate, Roasted Almonds and Raspberry Pectons. Now, I'm not a fan of Rocky Road but.this is no ordinary Rocky Road! I've been converted! (I'm enjoying some right now as I write this!)
Jade was making beautiful Chocolate Shards.a sight to behold, they are so pretty and they tasted divine! I don't do alcohol, but my husband and my best friend both sampled and purchased a selection of the liqueurs.not your standard runny centres, these liqueurs are beautiful, soft jelly centres! Speaking of jelly, or the correct name, Pectons, David makes these in the most divine, assorted fruity flavours! We had a wonderful afternoon. Amazing hospitality and outstanding customer service. We stocked up on supplies and David even opened up the next morning so we could pick up some of what we had watched being made the previous afternoon.

Their chocolate is worth driving from adelaide to buy. Their fruit jellies are quite simply the best. Soft and melt in the mouth there are none anywhere like these. If you are passing through Laura then you must stop here if you love chocolate.

Simply perfect. David is one of the country's best chocolate and gel makers. The taste, texture and aroma of these products are top quality. Gluten free rocky road and vegan friendly gels, there's something for everyone.

Stopped in Laura yesterday for coffee on the way to Melrose. What a surprise to find such a delight in Laura. We enjoyed our late and macaroon slice but was impressed when the owner offered us a raspberry chocolate to taste. Wow!

Well worth a visit for coffee, hot chocolate & nibbles before buying some deliscious locally made chocolates & jellies.
