Delivery person didn’t wait 5 minutes after a missed call, did not text me or anything so I texted them to leave my parcel at the door or at the mailbox, won’t leave my damn parcel today when it’s only 11: 30am and now I have to pick the parcel up in Berri which I can’t do. Driver/Delivery person won’t confirm if he/she will deliver my package on Monday. Absolutely confused as to why they can’t use a mailbox?

Warning, do not use this courier company. They ignore delivery instructions, lie about what they said they have done as a follow up to fix the problem, terrible customer service all around, 1 star rating is too much

Had a parcel delivered yesterday, the driver could not even be bothered to open the gate and bring it it. He just through it over the gate and left it there in the dirt, luckily it wasn't raining. Lazy

Fantastic service from Stacey Hughes and Melissa Carberry. We had a very important parcel shipped through a broker and found out that it couldn't be delivered where we needed it to be and Cochranes went above and beyond to make sure the parcel was delived.

Excellent, My parcel arrived from half way around the world in great condition. Cochrane' was the final mile deliverer. Friendly driver.

Been used this company for a while as my supplier, and it gave me nightmare almost every time. I would give negative star if i could. All delivery drivers were rude like you own them a million. They messed up the flour and they do not try to clean it up as i asked. Avoid this company and i am serious!

Don’t use these people. They were ok a couple of years ago but I think new owners. They take an order from another courier and then expect us to pick it up from another address. Then they ‘threaten’ to return to sender! What they fail to understand is that those who receive freight, send it. Just Mickey Mouse.

After two off grid electrical cabinets damaged and 2 solar panels destroyed costing over $16,000, Matthew at Cochranes personally helped me sort out my loss. I want to thank him for his openess and acknowledgement of the bad experience that should not have occured two times. He has assured me that they will endeavour to retrain drivers and others in the company so this won't happen to others.
I'm glad something good has come out of something terrible. Well done!

Always delivering, all over this state, I live in the mid north and are always using their services

Dreadful SA company. Accepted a consignment from a NSW company then called to say they don't deliver here (other couriers do without issue). They could drop it off about 10 minutes away though (huh!? !). I was literally told the 'driver doesn't have time to go down every road', so sorry to inconvenience him! They then said they'd send it back and hung up. Their website claims, 'We've Got SA Covered' just apparently not the bits where it's inconvenient for the driver given it's less than 10 minutes out of his way it seems. Gives SA business a bad name.

1 star and only because the telephone people were trying to help! Driver did NOT phone/text 1 hour before delivery, as arranged. Delivery organised for morning, did not happen, and arrived at midday when we saw the truck in the town and asked if they were delivering at our place. Answer was yes, and they would be there in 15 minutes, we had to go back so we could collect the items.

Wouldn’t deliver to my suburb. Asked if I could have it delivered to a friend. I chose to have it delivered to work in the CBD. They had to transfer it to another courier. Where are my medical supplies? They are not at work. I need them.

I would give zero stars if possible. Paid $300 delivery for a sofa from interstate. Given that, I would expect delivery to my address. Not with this lot! I only live 10 minutes from town but they wouldn’t drive to my address. If they can’t mange that then don’t accept the contract from Hunter Express. Also, don’t then proceed to lie to me about why you can’t deliver my package. Multiple times. Ended up chasing the delivery driver to another town to get my very heavy package before he took it back to the depot for a third time. Simply the worst so-called delivery company.

DO NOT USE. The most awful service. Cochranes were due to deliver a new oven for us. They showed up the first day unplanned, expecting someone to be home to receive the delivery. Unsurprisingly when no one was home they didn't both to call. We rearranged delivery the following day. After taking time off to be home, 2 hours after said delivery time I call to see what was happening. Unawares to Cochrane the delivery diver had broken down and was being towed to the depot. Cochrane only became aware after I called them! Attempt three was successfully, except that left my brand new oven on the driveway, refusing to assist to put it undercover (a few meters away) with heavy rain is expected.

Then to top it all off the oven was damaged with a smashed front!

When you pay for something to be delivered to your address - it should happen. Not with this mob however in the Mid North - all they are is a very basic trucking firm. We have complained over and over about the lack of the service we have paid for - delivery to our address. Even top operators like Apple fall for the trap of assuming Cochrans's deliver. They don't. Take note DHL and TNT - they don't!

Bought an item interstate, payed $64.00 in freight. Aramax handed the item to these guys for the local delivery. Informed by Cochrane's that they do not deliver to my address 5 minutes off their courier route. Highly unprofessional, why did they take delivery of my item if they do not service my address? Very poor service.

I have 5 acres with a good gravel driveway designed for large trucks to access my home in and out. The last 3 Cochrane deliveries have delivered a parcel by a lazy driver who chose to drive over my newly grown lawn and my hose rather than going up and down the driveway! Huge ruts were formed after the lawn was watered the night before the last 2x because he turned the truck when driving over lawn. Not happy! When I asked the guy not to drive over my lawn, there was no apology or acknowledgement rather he changed his attitude and became grumpy! Not good enough! DHL should choose a different courier. Money talks.and a lack of money does also.
