Cobdogla Station Caravan Park reviews
36 We stayed 2 nights in a cabin and we loved it. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and had all the facilities we could need (family of 4). We paid $15 per each bunk for bedding (for whole stay, not per night) which was clearly stated in emails during booking, bedding for the main bed was included.
Our children enjoyed the playground, we all enjoyed the bbq and camp kitchen (spotless) and how well maintained everything is. There are loads of rubbish bins for everyone to access, lots of shade, toilets, showers and a laundry/washing line.
After the floods, the river/lagoon area is still a bit of a mess but you can see the owners hard at work constantly to improve it (they were hard at work all day, every day).
We used it as a spot to relax and as a base to head to Monash, Barmera and Berri. Would highly recommend.
We stayed in an ensuite cabin last weekend. The cleanliness of the cabin was impeccable. Very pleasant, friendly and helpful manager, who knows the local area. The location was excellent for kayaking in the Murray. Very easy to launch kayaks at the caravan park's own boat ramp.
Stumbled upon CSCP when searching for camping spots near Lake Bonney, for the longweekend. We're all soo grateful we got in to Cobdogla. Fantastic location, great friendly staff (and above&beyond helpful, when not 1, but 2 cars wouldn't start on dif occasions). Clean excellent facilities, refreshing pool (much welcomed after a 37' day), quiet and shady. Large lots (we were in powered sites, camping.) Easy access to the water- whether to paddle about in the safety of the lagoon, or to venture out onto the Mighty Murray. Lots of birdlife to see&hear.
Great spot to hang out and chill out, or use as a base to venture out exploring the surrounding Riverland sights. We were all planning our next trip, before we even left - HIGHLY Recommended
Well kept lagoon access to main river great cabins competitive prices caravan sites swimming pool
Cabins are a little old but probably one of the cleanest you can find. Campground is so well maintained and looked after.
Powered sites, the management moved a few around to fit us as close together as possible on a last minute arrival. Much appreciated. Very clean facilities, hot showers & everything you would ever need in the camp kitchen including an undercover, sheltered bbq. We will return.
Great park, great service. Clean, tidy, and functional amenities. Close to Barmera, golf, kayaking, and the Cobby Club (community based organisation with wonderful food and atmosphere.) will return when the weather is better.
Nice caravan park the manager there is helpful and takes time to see if everything is ok for you. Nice walk along the river it is pet friendly. Small town but a nice town.
Great quiet park. Great place to base ourselves while we toured Loxton, Berri, Renmark, and Banrock Station. Marcus and Co were very helpful. Lovely grass sites.
Can't comment on the room's/cabin's, because I'm on a powered side with a van. Lovely spot to stay, big site's for car and van, well maintained, best showers I've seen in a long time compared to other place's, wonderful staff. Will Definitely be back.
Lovely caravan park close to the boat ramp and the backwaters are at the back of the park. It has a pool and kitchen area and canoes you can hire.
The secret is slowly getting out, that the Cobby CP, is a great place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in our own van, in one of the well maintained spacious sites, with spotless facilities. We have stayed several times and will definitely be returning.
Lovely area & wonderfull people just too regimented for me & some of the other permanents.
Owners are really trying hard to make it work & it is a business, but please it is a home to the permanent residents also.
I have sold my dwelling as I did not fit in there. Beautiful spot to enjoy the river & plenty to do in the area.
I was disappointed with this stay would not stay again. $170 & no bedding on bunks, only one spare blanket in 6 berth, I have stayed in cheaper places that were more accommodating with more bedding for comfort would definitely not stay again, travelled from far away &was very disappointed with whole stay experience!
Great little park on the Murray good amenities friendly staff would definitely stay there again in our caravan
Stayed over for 3 days and two nights mid September 2022. I used my own tent, while there is options of rooms, suites and caravans also available. Staff are very friendly and always there to help. Water, power and waste collection points provided. Toilets and bathrooms are vey tidy and clean. A kitchen with electric stow, fridge, freezer, microwave oven, electric kettle and toaster is available which is very nicely presented. An outdoor bbq is available at some gold coin expense.
There is a scenery riverbank available, too.
The only downside for me was that we couldn't set up the fire, however charcoal bbq is totally fine.
Be mindful of mosquitoes which don't mind even jeans
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet and relaxing. Central to much of the Riverland. Couldn't fault staff, facilities or service. Well Done! Thank you Cobdogla CP.
Excellent friendly service, great location, very neat and tidy make this a park that we will return to again.
Spacious sites, spotless facilities, super helpful owners, interesting history and stroll to water and trail. Not much in Cobdogla but this CP was welcoming. Great spot to rest up for a bit before the next leg of a trip.
Staff were great.very helpful.very clean and sites are very large. Can't wait to stay again.
