Clever Little Tailor

Nice quiet bar with a touch of class tucked away on Peel St. Plenty of spirits and choice of beers on tap. Service was friendly, with the 2 female bartenders were attentive to table service with regular top ups of water. We ordered an old fashioned and a boilermaker, and ended up staying for 3 rounds of it. Will be back again!

Really interesting and innovative wines delivered by understanding and informative staff. Came away educated and inspired.

This place is so good it’s hard to reduce it to words.

The atmosphere, drinks and staff are unreal

We went here on Friday night. Packed out. It’s a busy place. Expensive, really expensive but good drinks.

Delightful little cocktail bar in a great laneway of options. Staff were super friendly and available for a chat. Great vibe and good seating options for such a cozy place.

Fantastic atmosphere with surprisingly great music (Stevie Wonder, George Benson, etc) and some remarkable craft beers on tap. The staff is friendly without being obtrusive or sycophantic (fake), and offer exceptional service that’s effortless. Fast and relaxed. I went on Monday night, which was relatively quiet; which could have contributed to my positive experience. Regardless, highly recommend.

Always love calling through here of an afternoon once I’ve finished up, especially when the weather improves. The staff are great to chat with and are able to share their time equally to chatting, maintaining the bar and serving customers. The rotating taps for beer is a nice touch, and it’s good to see a mix of local and interstate craft beer dominating the line-up. The bottle list is equally impressive. Spirits is quite a diverse selection, so it’s unlikely you won’t find something you’ll enjoy. Keep up the good work team!

Great beer and whisky selection, fairly good range of cocktails. Cosy for mid week drinks but very busy on a Friday or Saturday evening.

Just what we needed when its cold and wet outside. This bar is incredibly cool - so nicely decorated (old-world, attention to detail), cosy, great music, and friendly staff.

Very cool vibe, efficient friendly service and superb selection of drinks. A great place to relax with friends.

Nicely decked out little boutique bar. Decent drinks selection that is definitely popular however I agree with another review that the atmosphere is a bit pretentious and not intimate for a very small bar later in the evening. Probably quite different earlier in the evening and will go back for another look.

This place was an excellent find based on a recommendation. Friendly staff and great selection of spirits. We fell in love with a Tasmanian whiskey!

Rude bar staff, wouldn't serve us or give us a reason why (we had just headed out for the night so no, we were not drunk). Ended up at Udaberri which was far more enjoyable and better priced with great service. Don't bother with Clever Little Taylor.

Music too loud. Would benefit from turning it down, for customers' benefit. Who can then talk and think, right? Otherwise nice place.
