Always a great place to eat and visit, an amazing old pub full of history, and friendly efficient staff

Stopped in for a meal on the way back to Adelaide, service was excellent and the meals were great.definitely worth the visit.

Had lunch here. Great service, fantastic meals at good prices. To top it all of, dog friendly. Will go back.

Yummy, Snitty was awesome, cooked right not burnt, chips nice, Dianne gravy perfect, salad variety. Will be going back for more.

Great pub. Outdoor area out the back has great seating a nice lawn and a basketball court for kids to play. Great food friendly staff.

Really great meal and lovely spacious beer garden. Well worth a visit. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Table was in front bar instead of dining room. Extremely noisy, had difficulty having a conversation due to the noise. A band was setting up right behind one of our chairs making it hard to move because of music equipment/speakers extremely close on the floor. Continually bumped into thr whole time we were there by people trying walk to and from the bar. Meals took a while to arrive, but when they did were very good. Doubt we'll be back after tonight's experience though.

I remember this gorgeous pub when I visited Kapunda a couple of years ago. Deanne is super lovely and hubby as well. Staff were awesome, beer was cold and the food was fantastic. If I ever visit Kapunda again this would he my go to place.

Really impressed that this small town pub had a really delicious vegan option. The woodfire was cranking and the locals were all very friendly. Great little local pub.

Had the Mexican was fantastic, my beer was good and the outdoor setting inviting, best pub meal so far

Saturday night meal for friends farewell. Good choice of meals. Service took a while as it was a busy night. The dining room can be a bit noisy as it is an old building - sometimes difficult to hear waitress.

Welcomed through the drive through by the friendly staff with dog treats on hand for the pooch.

Good pub food but I got in trouble for suggesting the vegies were frozen. Have the salad and chips.

Food is always good and prices are reasonable. Staff are very friendly. We try to go at least once a month for dinner sometimes twice

Found the Clare Castle very friendly and relaxing. Ordered lunch which was very tasty could not eat it all, mother and sister in law had a nap on return to Adelaide. Looking forward to the nice scenic drive there and a lovely lunch again. Well done cheers

Beautiful place with a great beer garden, lawn and outside play equipment where you can sit have a beer, food and watch the kids
