28Sorry to say that every time (over the last 6 years) I've tried a pastry item I've been disappointed by a very stale taste - from the custard tarts, through to cornish pasties and a variety of pies. It tastes a little like a mixture of bad flour and off lard. Sorry guys. The bread products have been good though and good service
I love Cjs Bakery for the Pepper Steak Pies, Jamberllinas, Mince Pies, and Most of all the hot Cross buns. I heard they won awards and I can definitely see why.

This place is amazing! Absolutely the best bakery in Adelaide, and absolutely the most friendly staff too.
Good customer service, ample parking at rear, fresh products. You will be amazed to see all the trophies and awards this bakery has won over the years. Good things is they also make birthday cakes. Highly recommended!
Generally nice food there, but last time we visit, the pasty pastry was not cooked through, the filling has very little taste (aka plain)
It is true that they have the best hot cross buns but they also have the best donuts. The staff are always friendly too!:)

I like to buy my tasty birthday treats for my friends from here too. They are always appreciated. CJ's do a great range of mini cakes too for when you just want a sneaky snack!
