CJ Sri Lankan Spices & Lunch Bar

Few Sri Lankan grocery shops exist in Adelaide, and this shop appears to be the oldest. As newcomers to South Australia, we were eager to buy our traditional food items. During my first visit, the shop owner was incredibly friendly and engaged in conversation with me. In my opinion, CJ Sri Lankan shop is the best in South Australia. The customer service is excellent.

If you want Snacks, spices, general groceries, frozen vegetables and yummy Sri Lankan 'short-eats' in Adelaide this is the place to go.

We came across this place while hunting down a certain brand of rice. Which they had and besides the rice all the other cooked foods are very nice ️️ and tasty. Service very good and very friendly, well done CJ thankyou

It's lots of Srilankan or Indian spices, mostly Srilankan tamil or singhales. Normally I order string hopper and coconut sambal (non vegetarian), you can order coconut sambal for vegetarian and also order curry, whatever you want. Vegetarian or Non Veggie they can make for you. They also have fish roll, chicken roll, lamb roll and triangle roll with half egg in it.

Good variety of Sri Lankan spices can be found here. Run by husband and wife. Sometimes the prices are not marked on the items. The receipt is also not descriptive. This is the main problem the customers have. The short eats and the meals are not bad but could have bit more flavor.
