OMG. Me and my kids went for the first time ever the otherweek and I must admit I thoroughly enjoyed it myself it is about three different playgrounds, lots of slides for Young and old kids and finally I could sit down for a couple of hours instead of roughly half an hour and if it is a hot day or if you have someone in the family who likes a bit of quiet time or likes reading then there is a big library that is located adjacent to the park across the oval. I haven't been to the library yet but I will be going tomorrow so i will keep you all updated ️️

This park has come a long way over the years. Plenty of things for the kids to do. Nice big grass area to kick a ball. BBQ facilities but be quick it is a popular spot for birthdays etc.

The Summer Festival held here was excellent. The ammenties, the food trucks, the entertainment all en pointe. It was a great day out. The lawns were lush green and excellent to sit on.

The summer garden festival was on today. Last year was amazing. This year. Not so much.and it was not due to the weather. The first cider we ordered was flat. I understand the taps were not ready.but isnt this something that should be sorted out before it opens? Unconvincingly.the second cider ordered an hour later was not much better.
We were then handed cold fries from another vendor who assured us they were fresh. They replaced them but still.is it that hard to provide fresh food in the first place?
On a lesser note the fringe act was average compared to last year. Not a big deal, but when judging overall, this year feels like the SGF has taken a downward slide from last year.
On a positive note.the musical artists were excellent. There were many acoustic covers which sounded amazing.
We love this festival as it brings the fringe closer to home. I hope this year is not a premonition of years to come.

Visited to watch a free outdoor movie. Beautiful place in the heart of central shopping district.

Love the lights, playground and facilities.

Totally recommend visiting.

Very disappointing Summer Garden Festival. Nothing to do a Festival or with Fringe at all. Just a commercial event where food stalls are given the opportunity to make good money.

Great place to take your family and have a picnic. The luscious green manicured grass is well maintained and nice to laze around. The highlight of the park is the playground where kids can have never ending fun while the adults can sit and watch.

Civic Park is a great place to exercise or relax and has a great atmosphere if you just want to sit and watch for a while.

Opposite to the Westfield tea tree plaza shopping centre. Everything you want is there in this park. BBQ, filted drinking water, shaded sitting area, car park facility, clean green area and playground, you just name it what you want in a park and you will get it there.

There's three sets of equipment suitable for different ages, so toddlers through to the end of primary school kids have something to do. My son loves the spinning equipment. BBQs also work well.

Beautiful lush green lawn, walking path, or skooty track if you are into that. Plenty of happy people enjoying the ideallic surrounds. Playground and bbq facilities too! On the doorstep of TTP and all the fantastic restaurants it provides. Grabbed an icecream and went for a stroll.

We had a great time at the Thai food show last week. Plenty of fabulous food, much being prepared all day for sale. Entertainment was good.

Great open space for people to play, exercise and relax, but stage is never used. Why not have an occasional local band play on a summer afternoon.

Sitting on a nice park bench in the shade with green all around and a nice gentle breeze; what a great way to hit pause on life for a while.

It's a great park, you would'nt get lost there but you could lose yourself, it's quiet, relaxing, and people are friendly there, surrounded by main roads but that makes access good, take time out and pay a visit,

Great place for a party, play, relax or unwind
Toilets, water fountains, library and lots and lots of places to eat.
Walk across to TTP one of the largest shopping precinct.
And the best is PLENTY of CAR PARK

Nice park to visit especially the playground for children
The play area has one section for small children and another area for older children and a big variety of equipment to keep them entertained
The play area is sheltered with sails and also fringed with nice shady trees.
There is also a huge green area for kicking and throwing balls.
There alsa toilet facilities

The playground is great for kids and lots of family friendly community events are often held here.

Great place possibly they should invest into tubular fence 1200 mm high so kids can be a bit more freely and security cameras through out would be great for families
As well maybe they need to invest into barbecues and plant more trees to shade
