Worst medical clinic ever reception are so rude and disrespectful with anyone who walks in, if can’t work properly don’t think this will be the right job for you. Please learn how to be more respectful and do some learning when you can’t cope with this job with no medical education background. Sitting there with phone call provide patient name doesn’t makes you professional. Drinking and mumbling and play with self phone while serving that is so rude and ridiculous. All sort of nonsense surcharge is illegal
Wanted to see a doctor last time by walk in and they said they were full, so this time I called them but I can’t even contact them and the mailbox was full. Rather walk few more minutes to another clinic.
When I need only prescription for my regular medication, I could obtain it through WeChat.
City Medical Centre has a very professional medical team, especially DR NG. She is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. The receptionists are very supportive and caring. I am very much satisfied with the experience at this clinic. Strongly recommended.
The receptionists are rude, irresponsible and poorly managed. If can get rate 0, I will rather give them 0 star. GP are wonderful and professional but it's so sad to see how front desk has adversely affect their services.
Went there a while ago and was asked by receptionist to perform a RAT test which costs $15. Once they found out I'm Covid positive, they asked me to leave. I'm not sure if this is common practice or not however I feel deeply offended. Oh well, at least another medical centre nearby was kind enough to provide me with a consultation.
Chinese reception so unkind. Sigh while talking on the phone and suddenly spoke chinese even though i was talking in English. It was obvious that she has some problem. Never want to visit there.
Tried calling multiple times to no answer, mailbox was full so at no point could we get through. We then decided to walk down, around a 20 min walk, to the clinic advertising they allow "walk-ins". The receptionist was relatively blunt, and told us that they're fully booked for the day. That sort of defeats the purpose of walk in tbh. We then asked for a rough estimate on time, to which we were told 30 mins to well over an hour. We would have waited, except then were told that a RAT test was required, something not stated anywhere other than in person. Remember, no phone at this point. We didn't have one, and they had the audacity to request 15 bucks for a test only they require! Absolutely awful mismanagement, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere
I requested a medical certificate for health insurance and they said they don’t do that! What a ripoff!
Last year I went there for the PCR and blood test (for travel purpose), they only accept cash or bank transfer payment, no card accepted. And I found they also claimed GP fee in my Medicare…… Even though I don’t need to pay for the GP, but I didn’t see a GP at all, and the PCR and blood test was totally nothing to do with GP.
The receptionist is so rude and did not respect patients’ time. Poor communication between receptionist and GP.
The BEST clinic EVER! I visited CMC recently for acute headache. The receptionist, so caring and considerate, squeezed an appointment with Dr Ng into my busy schedule. Dr Ng was patient and top professional, who explained a range of issues with headache such as causes and complications. She also explained why the lab tests she suggested were important. Compared to a few doctors I have seen before, who merely makes decision without helping patients understand, the experience with Dr Ng was superb. I am truly THANKFUL.
Been there this morning to see Dr Mai Ng for travelling vaccinations. I didn’t wait for too long, about 5-10mins. Thanks for the nurse who did 3 injections for me, I didn’t even feel any pain. Highly recommended
The receptionist did not respect patient's time. Already 2 times happened to me. At the first time happened while waiting for my husband's n my booking to consult with Doctor Ng and the schedule was delayed 30 mins from our schedule until I need to reschedule because I'm almost late to work because of that.
The second one happened last wednesday. Because of the side effect after covid, my husband lost his voice and we made appointment with Dr Deepak. We chose to take call consultation as we don't want to make anybody afraid because my husband just released from quarantine. The schedule was 10: 40 am. Due to my husband lost his voice, I need to help me to talk with doctor. We were waiting from 10: 30 am but didn't get the call until 11: 30 am. I was calling the receptionist for 2 times and they always said that we will be next patient that the doctor calls but never can answer us how long we need to wait. I'm almost late to work again and can't get my lunch and was rushing to work because of this delayed.
I just can't understand why those people in receptionist CANNOT appreciate other people, CANNOT appreciate their patients. I do understand the doctor was busy because something emergency happened during the day (The DR was explaining to us when he called us) however why the receptionist can't tell us that something happened and give us approximately time to wait? So we know how to manage our time, compare to just wasted our 1.5 HOURS to wait and postponed anything else we need to do just for waiting for the doctor call.
As I work in the CBD I called to book a COVID vaccination as the clinic is on the SA Health vaccine listings, however, as I'm not registered with the practise was told I had to pay $80 for an initial consultation first! What a con!
Whatever the service is good or not, everytime have to wait for 30 mins at least after booking time eventhough arrive on time.
Waste my time.
The receptionists are the rudest people I've ever met/spoken to. How they manage to get away with it I don' know. Will never come back again.
Very good doctor with short waiting time period. Definitely will go back. Overseas students and visitors don’t need to pay!
