City Indian cuisine reviews
31Got a chicken bone in my vegetable korma curry last night. Kind of disgusting. Won’t be here again after that. How does that even happen?
Alternative food when everything was closed around the place. Its open till 10pm if am not wrong. The Mango Lassi was amazing but the rest just average. The chicken tikka and lamb rogan josh nothing just average. The garlic nan was amazing. The service was quick.
Just came here today. Around 12pm.
Best price i’ve seen.
Huge portion.
Friendly staff.
Perfect stars from me. Cheers.
Great experience, lovely food and excellent service by Kamal. Kamal was very polite and was super quick. It was busy but she still had smile on her face and did her best. Loved the food, highly recommend.
Delicious food! If you are from Colombia or any other Latin country you probably will love the food! If you don't tolerate the spicy food maybe could be hard to you at the beginning. I recommend to start with the mild ones like the butter chicken, mango chicken and beef mussamon. Please try the garlic naan or any other naan (bread). Totally recommended!
The food is tasty and reasonably priced with good portion sizes and variety. The only thing I have to say is the lamb samosa isn’t the best but everything else is good.
If you’re looking for a true Indian curry dishes, this is the place you want to try, best in town, been years since and they never disappoint. I genuinely believe in terms of service and food quality no one can top them in Adelaide, highly recommended.
If you want to have real taste of Indian food just visit here. Nice to have authentic taste of India in Adelaide. I just loved the curries and their spiciness.
Tasty beef vindaloo and butter chicken, the serves are awesome. When in the city this is our go to place for a quick curry.
ONE OF THE BEST BRIYANIS EVER!
I tried many briyanis, this wins them all! Affordable price, and always tasty. Contstant take away quality briyani, homemade style
We ordered Meat Thali and Chicken Tikka Roll. For the Meat Thali, you get to pick any combination of three meat viands (chicken, lamb, beef), your choice of naan and rice. I definitely enjoyed eating the Meat Thali as the servings were large and savoury. The chicken, beef, and lamb viands, along with the cheese naan we chose, compliment each other. As for the Chicken Tikka Roll, it's a good alternative if you don't want to eat rice but want a large serving as well.
The best in All of Adelaide I have eaten indian food all around Australia this is second to none regards Natalis and Joanna Lebler
Cheap and cheerful curry. Decent range to choose from and always very consistent and tasty
Portion size got smaller even though a regular customer (less meat more sauce). Tried Glenelg and Norwood branches and they haven’t changed.

Food is the best! We always get Indian from here. Authentic, fresh and tasty. The food doesn't stay sitting around long as so many people eat here.
Horrible hygiene practice. Lady wasn’t wearing gloves and STILL wiped her snot on the back of her hand and continued to serve customers. She also slammed my money. Horrible customer service. No smile just a aggressive attitude. Fix your hygiene! Not acceptable at all! Especially when there’s still a GLOBAL PANDEMIC! Not hard to understand that. Not difficult to practice good hygiene, if you can’t then leave.
My review is based on a comaprison of takeaway places, do not compare this place or my review with fancy dine-in restaurants,
The service person was polite and quick. It's a very busy takeaway place, my expectations were not very high, but the food was nice, the place and tables were clean and the food was better than other such takeaway Indian places, the quantity was good as well. Much a variety of snacks, dine-in, takeaway, drinks.
Thanks.
Best value for money Indian in the city. I always stop in if I'm hungry in town and leave feeling fat and happy.
