Citrus Valley Motel

Rooms had everything we needed. Good bed and shower. Friendly staff. Best meal we have had in years at Ashley's restaurant.

0n behalf of my husband who travels for work.
Road noise awful.
Shower head was broken couldn't have a shower.
Hear noise from other toilets showers in my room.
Would not stay here again.

I didn’t stay because I didn’t think I was booked in. New management has terrible communication. I emailed on several occasions to confirm my booking. I was told i should’ve read terms and conditions if I wanted to change my booking. Was always happy staying here in the past. Won’t be visiting again. Now I’ve been charged $250 for somewhere I didn’t even stay.

Pros:
- Good, reliable internet. During our stay, I needed to stay logged in for work while my wife and kids went out. But the connection held very strong in our room for my work. (Teams, OneDrive, Phone calls had no problems at all)
- Drive up access to the front door (when you have two kids, this is a lot nicer than expensive hotels with lobby areas).
- Beds were comfy.
- The room we were in had a separate "kids" room to the main room.
- The location is quite good and close to town.

Cons:
- The bathroom could do with some modernization, but it's functional.
- The cold-water tap was broken (constant leak, and if you turn the tap off righter, it threads and turns back in). I'm sure maintenace will fix this, and it will be a moot point by the time you read this review.

Staff was amazing.
My friend and I had had a long day. So it was heaven.
Restaurant was brilliant.
Absolutely no complaints.
Will be back.

Staff are friendly and helpful rooms dated but for the price and location you can’t complain Ashley’s restaurant meals were excellent

The room was very comfortable although a little dated. The dining room was comfortable also.and the menu quite extensive. We had saltbush lamb which was lovely and will definitely revisit. The new management was very personable and helpful.

Welcoming and engaging staff from first contact.
Rooms clean and comfortable bed for sure. Currently upgrading amenities and big positive from me.
2nd stay and our go to place as atmosphere and interaction with other guests has always been a hoot

The room was very comfortable. The only downside was the light that was above the single bed in the room was in the wrong place. Each time I got up I kept knocking head on it because it was so low down.

Rooms are neat, clean and comfortable but the decor is very dated.
Wifi was good and staff were very friendly and helpful.
All in all though it was a pleasant comfortable stay if you’re not fussed about modern decor.

We didn't stay here but we did have a delicious meal in the restaurant called Ashley's The food here is very yummy and we will definitely be eating here again. Highly recommended

Simple clean well priced comfy rooms.
I arrived about 5pm, slept and departed at 3: 30am bound for Dubbo. Does the job. Happily stay again.

Most amazing motel friendly staff great brekfast. Walking distance from literally everything will definitely stay again

Great value for money.
My daughter left her special teddy in our room and she was devastate. I went back to collect it but rang through first. By the time I arrived the manager was already collecting it from the room. Although a small gesture, it shows they care.

Good location & close to the town. Shopping centre directly opposite. Very clean and good basic facilities. Coffee/Tea, kettle, toaster, fridge, hair dryer, electric blankets. Available to book on Flybuys.

It was a great experience for Beth & I to stay at the Citrus motel Renmark.lovely quiet comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a great little restaurant with fantastic meals.

A really lovely little place: small tidy rooms with daily cleaning. Best of all is the location! Surrounded by 3 petrol stations, and directly across the road is Woolworths, Big W and the shopping mall as well as skate park and playground. Located on the outskirts of the town Centre so not too far from a River drive or walk. Booked a meal at ashleys restaurant which was lovely.

Good location for shops.bugs everywhere.wifi cuts off a lot.friendly staff, needs more outlets, needs to clean out the rooms more because of lots of dust and spider webs.also these weird yellow containers in the shower and behind the tv!?
