Cibo Espresso reviews
58Absent franchisee owners most of the staff don't bring a personality or smile to work with them, at times some of them are both surly and rude
Great coffee and friendly staff. Given the pressure of the public holiday they remained calm and produced quality product. Manager is always respectful to her staff and customers. Barista that is there in the mornings makes consistent great coffee
It's just next to my house. I Used to go there good coffee but customer service not satisfactory. I Would just say staff members not professional!
Very unfriendly and unhelpful staff. I felt they were forced to serve. Double the price of chocolate croissants.
Can't believe they don't know how to make iced chai vanila which is in their menu. I got full of iced cubes with watery taste chai. Charged me $7.50 for this.
This afternoon - Tuesday 25th October around 2.30. My friend and I both had some of the worst coffee we have had for a long time - certainly not what you would expect from Cibo. I had a flat white she a moccha. We couldn't work out what the strange taste was at first - but decided it could have been sour milk. The staff weren't particularly interested when we mentioned it - politely - on leaving. Also had some carrot cake - which was very dry - maybe old There is too much competition in the area not to offer top quality at all times.
Payed $15 for 2 medium soy lattes with an extra shot.
Worst coffee I've ever had in Adelaide and both were still weak.
Tasted like the machine hadn't been cleaned either.
Sunday 10am. Chai Latte - soy milk stale, off. So disappointed as it came with a delivery including food so not able to say something at the point of sale. Threw it in the bin!
Bad form Cibo, especially as your core business is drinks!
Saturday 5th Nov around 4.30pm watery iced chai given when asked iced chai vanila with caramel syrup. No ice cream no caramel. Just full of ice cubes.
I ordered Iced chai vanila on Saturday 5th November around 4.30pm. I also asked to add caramel syrup for extra charge. There were 3 staff not busy as well. First I got iced coffee which is incorrect order i had to go back and ask. Then coffee maker made a coffee as per photo full of ice cubes watery chai taste. I asked him did you add caramel he said yeah it's in there and no ice cream charged $7.50 for this small cup of watery iced chai. Didn't have time to argue with them. So left the place. Can't believe don't know how to make iched chai vanila which is in their menu. I have worked as barista coffee maker for more than 10yrs you can trick other customers not me.
The coffee is OK and the service was decent, all in all a decent but not great coffee place.
I used to enjoy going to this CIBO, but not any more. The staff are so grumpy and clearly not enjoying themselves that it is clearly not a nice place to work. This makes it also not a nice place to visit.
It wad Cibo. All Cibo very much the same.
Friendly staff.
Hate having the vibrating pager to tell me that my coffee is ready.
If you can provide a table number for the food why not the coffee. I guess I'm just spoilt by my local independent coffee shop, Bay Blue Coffee Shop Mount Gambier.
Staff are very unprofessional.
No idea how to make a descent coffee.
No idea what the difference is when serving a take out coffee as opposed to a drink in coffee.
Sick and tired of telling them.
Tables are always filled with empty cups and plates while they are on their mobiles or talking amongst themselves.
My favourite coffee chain. Great cuppa of cappuccino. And must try the signature spinach and ricotta cheese pie. Lots of sitting place, nice deco and super friendly staff. Keep up the good work guys.
Garbage customer service and worse coffee. 20 Minute wait for a take away coffee. Wont ever go back. Pity Biga Cafe across the road was closed. Far superior in every way.
Jamie went above and beyond, an absolute champion! I was having “one of those days” and Jamie immediately turned my day around!
Regular Saturday morning visitor. Been happy with coffee and service for many years. BUT newish franchisee has brought in new staff and cafe is suffering. Staff are now awful - not customer focussed - coffee just soso and food is sub par. Perhaps the mean girl baristas would be better put on a later shift or maybe find employment at another cafe. HORRIBLE. PS tables are ignored and NOT cleaned regularly. Spend your money elsewhere.
Please don't put napkins on a plate and then put hot food on top of it. The napkin should be kept separate, that will improve the service too, otherwise I find Cibo does it well.
Coffee and service is good. But sandwich is overpriced and bread that it comes with seems a bit cheap. (After having it toasted, it came out almost flat).
