Christies Beach

Very underrated beach on the south side of Adelaide; highly recommend over commercialised alternatives

Adelaide has some incredible beaches, and we're known for them. Christie's beach (if even possible) is one of our uncovered gems - great beach with a beautiful environment, not swamped with others

I love going to the beach, but it gets difficult in summer time
Going to one of these, while having less of a vibe, are a great alternative that gives you the space to enjoy the location

I love the vibe here! Good place for surfing.looks not really suitable for kid swimming, but great track for walking with dog or just for taking a walk.

It's a good place for going for walks and there's a place for picnics and playground and also Cafes and bakery

Christies Beach is locted in the Southern suburb of Adelaide adjacent to O'Sullivan Beach with houses overlooking the beach front and next to Christies Beach Surf Life Saving Club.
Wirh a beautiful blue ocean and beach its Definitely worth a visit

Plenty of bird life along Christies Creek.

Love how clean this beach is. Not much seaweed. Great to go for a lovely walk along it. This is a Surf lifesaver manned ️. Parking isn't too bad. Easy access and a ramp to use for wheelchair bound persons. Sorry I didn't take any photos, I was just lapping up the scenery in person. Enjoy your visit.

A great beach. Peppered with cafe's, resturants and sailing and surf life saving clubs. Beautiful part of the coastline.

Esplanade is the best beach walk in the area if you like the beach but don't want to walk on sand.

Great place to live, the beach is one of the best in Adelaide. Good for swimming, fishing and just relaxing with a nice walk.

A beautiful beach front to visit great beaches and a wide variety of shops. Good public toilets and a nice little playground for the kids.

Grew up here and won't leave ppl come from all over the world to see out beautiful prestigious beaches we are so lucky

Very nice beach there. Theres a shared path there which runs along the foreshore some carparking bays and stairs to access the beach witch you can walk your dog of the lead a few park benches to have a rest on and take in the spectacular scenery and get some really nice photos there as well

Its quite a nice beach, with abundant room and sand. The water was pretty clear and a lovely colour. The nearby public toilet is old but functional. We found the waves here were crashing more forcefully than semaphore, which we've visited many times. For our 6yo it was fun, but for our 3.5yo they were too strong and I had to lift him up frequently. Still, a fun time!

Beautiful beach.not touristy.plenty of coffee shops and places to eat. Great shopping areas. Just a wonderful place to live!

Good for the whole family, it's got calm surf up to the surf beak for those leaning n paddle boarding also life saving club for nippers

It was our COOK ISLAND. A place i can feel close to Gary. The CHILDREN a place to remember their Dad. The good times. A place i wish i could go ANYTIME. Not once a year if im lucky. I miss my husband. Kids Dad. Grandkids Grandad. Heaven NEEDED an angel.
