Best FRIED CHICKEN - much better than any other chain option
The seasoning had a little extra somethin'-somethin' and it was so crispy and not oily At All!
CHIPS were awesome - crispy and well seasoned (I asked for chicken salt). SALADS were fresh and tasty.
SERVICE was excellent and the atmosphere was cheerful - with the place decked-out in Christmas decorations and staff dressed up too Great first impression and we look forwar to next time!

Great little local spot. Menu has a very large variety and all reasonably priced. Burgers require a better sauce, chicken requires 1min less in the fryer. Overall very happy and we go back frequently.

First time visiting here.yes I understand it's no longer chicken land but I was raised on chickenland so I prefer it but was still pretty awesome probably 7.5 /10

I came to the shop today as l couldn’t get any delivery, was so please with the service very friendly, fried chicken better than KFC no wonder millicent doesn’t need KFC, fish, prawn and scallops are the best from any other fish and chip shops in Melbourne (where l come from) am glad as l will settle in in Millicent soon Thanks Guys

Whole shop was very well set out and beautiful and clean, tidy. The service was excellent, the staff (boys) they were very well presented and exceptionally well mannered. I think I even spoke to their Boss he was very attentive and spoke to me and my husband both. Great place. Keep up the great work you are all doing guys xxx Wendy Pryor

Delicious food and friendly service! Wanted something easy to eat on the way home from sport so called in and grabbed some food. The food was absolutely delicious, a very reasonable price and the service was fast. Kids were even given Easter eggs and we were given a free raffle ticket, we were very impressed.

Lets talk about the chips for second. Cooked fresh and straight out of the fryer, they were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle the way a perfect chip should be. A generous coating of delicious chicken salt encompassed each chip and the consistency of the gravy provided the perfect dipping sauce.

The roast chicken was plump, juicy and full of stuffing. The pumpkin salad had a great feta to pumpkin ratio and was the cherry on top of a great roast chook dinner.

The only disappointment was that you are 900kms from where we live, meaning we can't become regular diners.

Food is absolutely fantastic. Service is perfect and the staffs are very friendly, I felt very comfortable while dining in this restaurant. I definitely will come back soon.

More than just Chicken with a range of burgers and steak sandwiches. Plenty of salads too such as, seafood, pumpkinn spinach, pasta, etc.

Beautiful clean shop with awesome food. Vegan friendly also. Great chicken and burgers, ice creams and the take away coffee is awesome.
The owners and staff are just the best. Great treats and bakery bread as well.

Food was not cooked up fresh, we had chicken, it was served out of a warmer so was dry and hard. Sure do lack Customer service

Ok been there three times and every time the chicken was dry and the chips were rotten ends of the chip the owner is a very angry man

Not only does the Food taste great but the service and warm welcoming ‍‍ staff members are always awesome.

It's also great when they know you by name.

Highly recommend The Chook House if you're ever passing through Millicent and looking for a great Feed.

Oh by the way.the Pork Rolls are yummy nuff said.

Seafood pack is great value for two people. Must of had 3 in the last month. Wish them the best of luck at this location, the shop renovation came up nice!

We got 2 x 3 piece, chips and salad, was very nice, really enjoyed the freshly cook chips - cheers

Called in here Saturday Morning on the way out of Millicent to get some salads for lunch. Beautiful food & the service was super friendly. Bought some homemade spring rolls & when we had the salads, they tasted yummy. Ended up having two scoop ice creams too. Yum.

Would be 5 stars if the burgers weren't dripping with 2L of oil dissolving the paper its wrapped in and turning the cardboard box transparent

The crunchy chicken is amazing. Tried one piece just our of curiosity and now I'm hooked.
