Chips & Chow（Paradise fish & chips）

Super food, friendly service, and super clean. We had one noodle and one stir fry. Both were lovely but beaten by the salt and pepper squid. The chips were great as well!

The food was excellent quality, and I enjoyed the variety. The portion sizes were perfect. I tried a hawthorn fruit drink, which is authentically Chinese, which was great.
The service was very friendly, and the owner was happy to converse. Our conversation clearly showed that he aims to offer great food with excellent service.
Atmosphere, being a takeaway shop, it is unreasonable to expect too much. That being said, it is clean, and there is a lovely round table where four people could share a meal.
Being a takeaway shop, the real atmosphere is the owner's willingness to engage with his customers. I can tell that over time, locals will build a good relationship with him and his staff and that a community atmosphere will develop organically.
Unfortunately, I am not living in Adelaide, but I will highly recommend it to my friends and I will be back.

Ordered the Szechuan Fried Rice with extra chilli but in all honesty, it just tasted like Special Fried Rice without any kick. I called to advice them of this mistake and under the impression once I drove back they would remake the meal but to my shock, they only offered a full refund on all the food I purchased and asked me and my partner to never return again. Even though we were repeating customers who have never complained about the food or service in the past, I was completely outraged and disgusted with the attitude my partner and I received. It just lacked the ‘SZECHAUN’ but because they gave me extra shrimp in my meal (which I never asked for) this makes up for the excuse they gave us a Special Fried Rice instead which they didn’t want to acknowledge. Atleast they offered a full refund.

Very good fried rice, and Szechuan beef dish. Good customer service.would be great if they are open late night on weekdays

I don’t even want to give them a 1 star but unfortunately had to. We went in there today and ask for Szechuan Fried Rice ️ ️ and when we had it there was no flavour and spice in the food it was bland so all we asked for is to remake it and add more chilli in the food. The guy who served us asked us not to come back because apparently the chef felt insulted and she said I’m not going to remake it. Although both of them had a spoon of their own dish and didn’t say anything about it. He did gave us the money back but the attitude and rudeness was definitely on a different level. So basically please do not take your food back even if it’s out of taste, bland or not up to your standards because if you will, you will be asked not to return again.

Definitely not going back there again for that kind of a service and not recommending to anybody.

We had the BEST Chinese take away ever from Chips & Chow. So full of flavour, very generous serves and excellent value for money.
I loved the fried rice and highly recommend the Chicken and Cashew nuts, superb!
The owners are so friendly and helpful too.

Most of the time the Chinese from this place is awesome just recently we had the seafood pack which wasn’t good the chips although nice were too salty and the fish was slightly mushy when cut with a knife and smelled slimly and off the next day the gut wasn’t doing good

This place is new to me. I've only had their fish, chips and garlic prawn satays. The fish has a light batter and was quite a good size n not dry! The chips are amazing and the satays are delicious! Definitely want to try out their 'chow' meals too which sounds awesome! And most of all the people are super friendly!

Special fried rice! It’s the best…. Can’t wait to try other choices on the menu. Value for $$$

The honey chicken and sweet and sour pork with the special fried rice is pretty amazing.
The fish and chips is also good. (Pretty big servings)
Customer service is great as well.

Me and my folks come here quite often and were very surprised on how great the food taste. Especially the pad Thai and fish and chips definitely worth the travel for both. Will be coming here very often that’s for sure

Excellent Chinese food & Fish & Chips.
The fried rice is 1 of the best I've tasted and the other Chinese food is so good to, very good portion sizes as well.
The fish and Chips are great, big pieces of fish and the chicken salt they use on the chips is delicious!

Have now tried both the fish and chips and parts of the asian menu. Both were great, particularly the honey chicken. Owners were extremely friendly, highly recommend trying this venue.

Chips with chicken salt is a must have! Fish batter is very light yet still crispy and golden. Prawns are amazing.

Tried them for the first time tonight and was impressed. I ordered the seafood pack and dim Sims. Both were great, generous serve and good price. Will be back.
