Really dislike that they take the phone off the hock when they are busy I don’t like having to order in store an have to wait 20 min

I ordered food just after 6 and didn’t receive it until 740. My order was wrong, the food quality was awful and over priced. I payed $9 for the equivalent of a macdonalds medium chips.

The hot chips are so amazing! And such a convenient little shop will definitely be returning!

Good quality food at this “good ol chicken shop”! Tasty barbecue, chicken – the breast was tender! Great chips, crisp, and crunchy on the outside, light and fluffy inside. Salads, the standard selection (most are pasta & potato- not enough fresh /greens for me). Prompt and efficient service from pleasant and happy staff.

Came here a couple of times early to mid 2022 and the fish and chips were good. I'd say 4/5 stars. At some point things went downhill dramatically. I don't like to write a bad review after one go but I've been back their three times now (5 in total) and the food as has been really poor each time. The fish and chips makes me feel queasy and I can't finish half the meal without feeling sick. Last night is the last time I will come here. Ordered the fish pack with whiting. Chips were very average, fish was dry and at the end of each piece was a deposit of scales and bones I had to spit out. Once again, the same queasy feeling half way through the meal.

The chickens are great but my go to is the butterfish and chips. Really huge pieces of fish with a nice light batter and a large amount of well cooked chips. Great staff and super quick turnaround. I sometimes uber from here too and it’s really quick too.

I’m really sorry to say this place has gone down hill. We use to think chickens on diagonal had the best chips in Adelaide…. Now I’m at a point where I won’t go back.

They run out of chickens constantly, the chicken is dry. We always ask for the chicken to be cut into 8th…. We have previously had it not cut at all. I think they don’t change the oil as much as they use to and have changed the chip supplier potentially.

The last straw for me was watching the kitchen staff cough on their hands while cooking but wait it gets better…. They proceeded to take a few chips on said coughed hands and eat the chips they then tried to serve to us.

Ive come here a few times and its just a gooden i will be coming again when i can be botherd catching a bus

This is my local, I live just down the road and have been going there for years. Their chips are top tier and I highly rate the beef burger. The pricing is reasonable too for what you get. Cheers all, I'll be back.

Busy shop so it pays to order by phone.
Plenty on offer and well priced.
Staff are young (not all young) but they're all friendly.

Hamburger with the lot, absoultely delishious, jampacked with everything, very filling and good priced, deffs recommend

My partner ordered a meal as a special treat for my birthday. I ordered a steak sandwich.where was the steak? A few shrivelled up bits of meat, not value for money! He had chips that were so salty, they were inedible! Not ordering from you again!

Left a bad taste in my mouth just by seeing the not funny discrimination note.

Hour wait for chips because they’re too busy doing Uber Eats orders. Good way to lose real customers.

Finally tried to see what the hype was about. Do not recommend. Picked up the food and chips were soggy

Rude staff. Chips were undercooked and gross. They demand you to wear a paper thin mask that covid could go through anyway. Avoid

Recently started going to this restaurant, lovely service, great environment, friendly staff and tasty food. Definitely recommend a 1/4 chicken hot pack

Food good but a little disappointed I had to pay an extra $4.50 for gravy because it doesn't come with a schnitzel pack if you choose salad instead of veg? Just doesn't make sense!
