Chicken Villa - Seafood & Grill

I went here yesterday to purchase fish and chips for two. A gent was at the grill tending to one order of four burgers and nothing more. He kept looking over at me with a frown, no - "Sorry, won't be a minute" or even a "Hello. " I waited at the counter for about fifteen minutes, then left without being served.

Hot chickens were good (the only ones we could get on boxing day) but nearly died at the price due to it being a public holiday $25 ea - usually $14 ea.

Too tight to give me a wedge of lemon after charging $1.90 for 40 GM of tomato sauce. And the fish was $8. Won't go back.

Terrible… been coming for over 7 years but hadn’t visited recently until tonight. Will not be back anymore. No chicken’s left at 6.45pm. Staff weren’t helpful and bordering rude. Had to order fish, which was inedible. Batter was like cardboard with no flavour. Dripping in oil. Calamari was tiny, smaller than making a ring from thumb finger top. Absolutely a joke for $2.20 per piece! Chips were hardly eaten, despite asking twice to ensure chicken salt, they were tasteless, besides tasting old oil and no sign of salt. I’m not sure what’s happened to this place but we were extremely disappointed, most went in the bin and needless to say we unfortunately won’t be back.

Dried out chicken must have sat there for half a day. Grisly chook we fed the dog on it. Chips were nice.

Just saw them give a free bag of hot chips to a young boy who accidentally dropped his. Great service.

Recently bought some chips just a small serve for 5.50 and the chips weren’t cooked properly and the bag only half full then they charged me 6.50 for a salad which was only 3/4 full while I waited I looked at the menu and the pricing was ridiculous
Last time I go here plus terrible service
This place should be ashamed of themselves charging what they do especially for there Christmas menu

This place is excellent. The chips are the best, the chicken is succulent and fresh and the salads and accompaniments are the best (my daughter loves the gravy). A while ago I wrote a bad review of this place due to a customer service experience I had. I still kept coming back because the food was so good. I would now like to retract my earlier review as the staff are all friendly, helpful and extremely professional. Great turn around as it went from 1 star due to customer service to 5. Could not recommend any higher and will come back more often now.

When you can't get a basic burger right, that's saying something. Totally way overpriced too. Don't recommend.
Ludicrous that business would use current economic crisis as an excuse for making bad food.

This place used to have the best potato fritters. I used to come just for them but they seem to have changed suppliers and now they are so tiny ill not be back again

If you're looking to spend way too much on average food then by all means come on in. Purchased 2 steak sandwiches, a hamburger (minus the lettuce and tomato) and a bag of chips. Not only do they charge like criminals they have the ordasity to charge a fee for using EPTPOS. The sandwiches $9.50 each which is close to OK BUT they charged $9.50 for extras and $9.50 FOR A BAG OF CHIPS. I didn't take much notice at first but returned to question they were quite rude and just gave the "well that's what it costs" answer.
Sorry, won't be back as there are plenty of other places that offer far better value, are friendly and are thankful for customers

Extremely overpriced and food is not really that good anymore. IRONICALLY THEY FEEL THAT DUE TO THE CURRENT ECOMIC CLIMATE IN WHICH EVEYONE IS IN THE SAME SITUATION IT IS OK FOR THEM TO CHARGE EXORBITANT PRICES.
Staff are also extremely unfriendly and won't cut up chicken, don't expect service with a smile.
Kind of puts you off your already ordinary food.

I had been going here for years for the great food. But last time I was there I watched one of the staff come inside from having a smoke out the front and immediately start handling food with their unwashed bare hands. If they are a bit lazy with hygiene especially in this day and age, I'll give it a miss next time.

Have you changed your potato fritters? The ones today were like dried cardboard. Sorry but just not nice

Yummy food, but I’ve been here multiple times between their operating hours and they have been shut up to 40 mins before close. This is frustrating when you make the drive or are hanging out for it. I recommend the food but it’s touch and go whether they’ll be open. Annoying when you can’t trust the business hours they’ve written themselves.

Great place! Has become our go-to West Beach local for a fast and tasty dinner. Love the app for easy ordering, quick pickup and also the delivery option. Keep up the good work guys!
