Chicken Coupe Whyalla reviews
29Chicken coupe? They didn't even have any chicken! The Food is just average, and the service was absolutely disgusting, as soon as I asked questions she would look away and frown and mumble things, the woman who served me made me feel like I was an inconvenience just being there! But yet she was nice and greeted the regulare and locals with a warm friendly smile. Won't be back again and I'll be sharing my experience with others.
The staff was quite rude, mind you thoughshe was nice to the regulars, not very good customer service
Love Chicken Coupe! Always good value for money, food is always good too, can almost never finish a meal with the portions! Highly recommend
Rough service ordering over the phone. Don’t bother with seafood wayyyy over cooked, similar texture to my boot sole (whiting and squid).
Pork overcooked and fairly dry not sure how as it’s shoulder.
To top it off salads are like soup (maybe just personal preference) but no need for so much dressing.
The most delicious food with the best service in town. My go to when I need a hug from food.x
Combo yiros and chips. Deliciousl! Call ahead and pick up in 15 minutes. A better alternative than your regular fast foods
Just ordered food and haven’t eaten any yet but if the food taste as good as their attitude, it’s going to be terrible! Customer service goes along way and unfortunately they have none!
Unfortunately we got there too late for the chicken but what we ordered was very tasty, order early and you will get the chicken, we did on a previous occasion.
Ordered dinner at 539pm n was told half hour, it's now 650pm and when I rang the owner answered n said yes we still cooking it get there soon n hangs up on me.
I think u need to work on your customer service
Very rude n unprofessional didn't even ask me what order was mine. Yes I understand u are busy but u do t talk to customers like that.
The ladies who do all the hard work there, are amazing highly recommend there very fresh meals.
First time customer… response. “Bloody brilliant” I had 1/4 pack with chips peas roast carrots and gravy.it was huge everything tasted as I hoped
Just bloody brilliant price service and quality
Chicken, chips and salads were good and fresh but didn't enjoy the seafood. It is a chicken shop after all so benefit of the doubt here ")
Extremely expensive. I really do miss Adelaide where you can get quality takeaway cheap. But in Whyalla if you want good quality food they want you to pay through the nose for it.
Unfortunately my service from your chip shop today was embarrassing. From the initial rude service that we received to the terrible food I feel sorry that you need to provide this dismal level of service to any customer. I honestly could have found better food in my bin. The fat chick needs to some s€x or she was bullied in school coz she was grumpier than the grinch. I honestly didn’t know poop had a size.btw u require more salt on chips
I know you guys were busy still I waited an hour and 20 minutes for my order to come to me and then finally when I got my order and sat down it turned out to be a meat and chips when I ordered the meal I asked for a lamb yiros just the word should be enough to get what I wanted but here is the definition of yiros.yiros. Rolled up flat bread meal with either lamb/beef meat and condiments of various sorts - traditionally Greek in origin: Gonna grab a yiros (usually after a night out at the pub). So I did not order a meat pack I asked for a lamb yiros and chips
Worst fish and chips ever. Everything tasted bland. The chips had no salt. The calamari tasted like cheap frozen calamari rings from a supermarket and no salt or seasoning at all. The fish tasted rubbery and bland as well. The staff members were rude too. Will not recommend and will never go back.
Unfortunately, the food was not good at all. We ordered 2 Family Seafood Packs, and all the food was dripping with oil, over cooked, food was clearly cooked in old oil, as the food was dark in colour and absolutely tasteless. The lady that served us was very nice and the portion size was huge, which is the only thing that gives this business a star rating.
Flock to the Chicken Coupe!
This Whyalla well-loved take away deserves special recognition for its made and/or prepared 'fresh-on-the-premises' commitment. All seafood is hand-crumbed and the yiros cooked over coals in front of your eyes. Today I selected the roast porqk hot pack with peas, carrots, gravy and chips. My oh my was it gooood. The pork was succulent and juicy, the veg very tasty and the chips hot n tasty. I managed to get 2 meals from this generous serve! The Chicken Coupe is scrupulously clean and all the salads and raw fish covered to ensure no cross-contamination. The place has a retro 70s charm that Covid restrictions cannot dampen. This bird will definitely fly back to the Coupe to try other menu favourites
The AB Pack & cold chicken pack were tasty & box was over flowing. You could taste the charcoal flavour in the chicken which was great.
They certainly dont skimp on portions.
The coleslaw is delicious, soooo creamy
All the ladies are friendly. Definitely recommend you try this place.
Great place for food and service, the fish and chips, the yiros (combo) was generous and well made great for your family to enjoy the night well done
