CHICKEN CAVE

This is the 2nd time I have been to chicken cave and it's also the 2nd time that I have got a chicken from them and it's been hot nice and juicey and not dried out. The staff there are so nice and they will have a conversation with you and not just take your order then ignore you while getting your order like some places. I will definitely be going back a 3rd, 4th, 5th and more. It's also in a great location. You can do your shopping then pop over the side rd to get whatever you have the munchies for. I believe that there chickens are better than KFC (which always seems to be dry). Definitely worth going to.

Not the same since mom and pop retired, the staff are ALWAYS talking, very little attention get payed to the food, prices have gone up and the quality has dropped. Steak sandwich with the lot was $12 now it's nearly $16 because you have to add "the lot" as separate extras on ubereats. Disappointing as my family and I, like most people who have reviewed, have been coming here for nearly 30 years. Such a shame

As a 6 yr old I used to walk from grange road to tapleys with my mum, sister and brother and our fav thing to do was buy your chips and walk home from your shop. Thats 30 + years of coming to you. I remember them being plentiful and super tasty. Medium chips are like small and would prob feed just my husband not the whole family. Not to mention could taste the oil in them which had a funny flavour almost like it's been cooked in the same oil as other foods. Usually go to 2 other fish shops in the west and they are very generous with their med size chips and the chips are amazing. Didn't go today cos they weren't open. Sad to see the standard drop so much now that I'm nearly 40. Very over price. Sorry guys thumbs down

This is $7 worth of chips! Only went here because we were going past on our way home. Our normal chicken shop give almost double the amount for the same price. Absolutely disgraceful. This was only enough to feed 2 young kids. Go elsewhere

Chicken was very tasty but the chips were rushed, we arrived close to opening time so maybe the oil was not quite up to heat.

Hands Down the BEST Chicken shop in the WESTERN BURBS! The Roast potatoes are absolutely to die for & the chicken is so juicy and packed with flavour! Highly Reccomend

Delicious food, always fresh, the hardest part is deciding what to have as there is heaps to chose from. The shop is always clean too

When your order fish GRILLED, You expect fresh fish not coated with anything! I rang the store to be yelled at and abused by the owner who argued that "that is how it comes". We grill with a flour coating! If I wanted my fish battered I would have ordered battered. It's ridiculous to 'grill' battered fish, seriously what a hack job! You just lost a customer.
