Chengs Chinese Take Away reviews
10Young lady on the phone very professional, and that’s where it all went down hill. Steamed Dim Sims very dry. Combination seafood with vegetables, had 3 medium prawns, and 6 very tough squid pieces price $17.90 no other seafood just vegetables. I had Satay Chicken which was just OK, special fried rice was very ordinary no prawns and dry. Only visitors to the area and read the reviews, nothing like the reviews
Best Chinese food ever! Have been ordering from here for years and have NEVER been disappointed. Love you Chengs!
Food was delicious and piping hot. I have severe allergies and the Woman who served me was extremely careful and accommodating. Reasonable prices and it was raining so she even brought it out to our car while we waited.
Fantastic service and food, will definitely be back. Very welcoming and awesome chinese takeaway! Can't fault them.

Best Chinese in Adelaide South, so good I will do an hour round trip to get their food. Have never disappointed in 8 years. I don’t get the raging thirst of MSG of other Chinese restaurants and the meals are sublime. Favourites include the sizzling garlic prawns, satay beef and fried duck in plum sauce. Just yum all round.
Don't let the shop front tell the story. The food was super fresh and tasted amazing! Was our first time here, we'll definitely be back!
Ordered an entree, three mains and a rice. Waited 20 mins which I didn't mind, the salt and pepper prawns were beautiful but I wouldn't really call it a "main" we received a container half full of rice noodles and about 8-10 prawns for $15.90. The satay beef entree was nice wasn't overcooked and had good flavour. The mild Schezuan beef had beautiful flavour but wasn't good value for money. The chicken with plum sauce in batter was very nice and they even separated the sauce so the chicken stayed crunchy. The special fried rice was okay but bland and had three shrimp in it. Overall I enjoyed our meal but it may be a bit overpriced for some of the portion sizes.
Long term and regular customer - always consistently good food, with pleasant service and good prices.
Reasonably friendly and timely service however the food is bland, tasteless and overpriced. $3.50 per serve of rice and it was not even a full container plus it was dry and old. Wouldn't waste my money ordering here again.
