Chefs of Tandoori reviews
52I wish I could give anything lower than 1 Star. Their customer service skills are atrocious and the staff were very rude. Instead of helping us out with our Problems, they insisted that it is they way they operate. The food quality was under Par and it was not fresh at all. We did not enjoy the food at all neither the atmosphere. It was a total waste of money and I honestly would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Went there for a dinner on last weekend
Atmosphere was good but quality of food was not according to our expectation.
Quantity of food was not sufficient and wasn’t tasty as almost there was same taste in all chicken dishes.
Service was also not up to the mark, looks like they were in hurry while they were not enough customers.
Delivered us the wrong desert after food but they didn’t accepted their mistake.
Rates are also high as compare to food quality and quantity.
Unfortunately will not recommend to anyone.
Not a great experience. Was hoping for a curry with more taste and some kick. The food definitely caters to the white and Aussie palette which is mild and on the border of bland. The naan had a texture of undercooked but edible. I'd like to try another more spicy curry from this place but reluctant to. Being an Indian boy it's definitely not mums cooking. She didn't scrimp on the heat!
Chefs of Tandoori is consistently amazing, all their curries are so delicious! Extensive vegan/vegetarian menu as well. My favourite Indian place in Adelaide
We ordered takeout after making the decision to try a different take out restraunt.
Firstly, the food is Amazing! We ordered three vegetarian dishes and two meat. All were delicious. It was clear real effort was put into the dishes and the spice was quite sophisticated.
We used the online platform to order the food.this was really easy and included pictures.
Serving size was good and pricing very good.
Despite a reasonable sized order, I was informed it would be ready in only 20 minutes. I arrived to pick up exactly 20 minutes later and it was there waiting for me.
Pleasant surprise to have such a good experience and great food!
Highly recommended!
I have nothing but praise for this restaurant. Fortunatelyy for me I live about 20m away from them so can savour the Zindaloo and other delights when ever I feel like it. Great service.wonderful friendly chef. Heaps of vegan, vegetarian and meat options. I love it!
Their food is so good. Maybe one of the best Indian restaurants in Adelaide. If you are reading this, order from here, you won’t regret it.
Ordered from the vegan menu. Was delicious, beautiful room and the friendliest staff! Can’t wait to go back. Thanks!
Ordered a Vindaloo tonight - it was incredible in terms of flavour, heat, semi-eye-warming-hallucination, ticks all the boxes. I usually hunt a thicker sauce - but I have now found a new favourite. Top notch.
Really average food - much better options in the general area. Ordered a heap and legitimately couldn’t tell the difference between three different chicken curries, heavily salted and spiced, not much else.
Decor was nice walking in and figured the food would match, unfortunately was let down - even the naan was poorly cooked, being somewhat doughy, same with the pakoras.
To top it off woke up early this morning to an upset stomach, am no stranger to spice or Indian, just something here didn’t sit well.
Probably the best indian food i’ve ever had the pleasure of eating.the flavours are unbeatable! Every dish has been outstanding.and they have a whole separate vegan menu, which is always a win.
Lamb was nice, all dishes had a tad too much salt.also the prawn dish was lovely.would love to eat in, really nice for takeaway
Gorgeuos indian interiors, comfortable sitting. Service is great, staff is very polite and professional. Chefs are amazing with a lot of experience from property like Taj Mahal 5 star Hotel in Delhi. Food was great in taste with authentic Indian falvours including the condiments, except papadam. Portion size of Paneer could be a bit more and Naan could be bit more crispy with layers like a traditional Indian one.
The food quality wasn't top notch and the atmosphere felt stale. Small area inside. No wow factor or love put into the food. I wanted to enjoy this place, and from the outside, the food smells good but it was boring. I'll go back again, I believe this group is very capable.
The food here is amazing and the staff are always happy to help with any dietary requests.
Whether you dine in, take away or get orders delivered you won't be disappointed.
My family has dined in and had deliveries on many occasions and Chefs of Tandoor is our No. 1 go to for Indian cuisine.
They do this great mixed dish where you get to try a few little bowls of food and when paired with a melted cheese naan and raita just makes my mouth water.
4 adults and child came to around $100, but worth every penny!
Off street parking is available.
Cosy restaurant, good service, tasty food, and very reasonably priced - it ticks all the boxes! We had dinner here with friends and had many dishes; they were all good.
Quality food and great service. Vegan menu. Cosy dine in for small groups. This busy restaurant is our go-to in the Unley area. Thank you!
My partner and I order the Vegan Indian by Chefs of Tandoori on Uber eats and it's incredible. So glad to have vegan options that are consistently delicious. Thanks team!
Idiotically salty
Not just too salty more like a terrible mistake.
I have never tested such salty foods in my life and I have been to Beijing!
Not cheap for truckstop food. We loved Indian food but this was just awful.
We tried the Thali, veg, non veg and seafood. While there were some great items like the Malabari Prawns, Kerala fish curry and the mix veg korma, the butter chicken and the chickpea curry were not good. The rest of the items were average.
Didn't feel good after spending top dollar for a dinner.
