Friendly staff but a little under the pump had to ask a couple of times what we required, great food

Well decorated. Excellent service in particular from one young lass Ashley, real asset to the business. Restaurant is always so busy and the servers are worth their weight in gold. Thanks Ashley and the chef lam crew for a good dinner the other night.

Banquet is the best option, always enough to take a little home. First time I've tried dipping prawn crackers in sweet chilli sauce and surprised me with this game changer lol. Really enjoy eating here!

Love, love, love chef Lam's. One of our go to's. Chinese food is expensive in general so it's extra special when it's delicious and the servings are generous. The atmosphere is so relaxing with an open fire in the winter and good dinner music.

Horrible!
We ordered a pack from here and our first red flag should have been that it only took 5mins to be ready.
Got it home and wow!
The prawn crackers taste horrible! The satay chicken tasted like dishwasher liquid! The sweet and sour pork was old and shrivelled up. The rice was dry. The vegetables in all the means were browned and old.

We usually don’t like to complain but we went back and actually got a refund. It was not a pleasant experience at all.

Staff were ok though and service was good.

A very disappointing experience. We were told 25 minutes to pick up order and it took 50 minutes. The food was all very bland, the cold rolls were poorly made and full of noodles with chicken that was flavourless. Steamed dim sims all fell apart with average filling and sauces that came with our order tasted watered down and our spring rolls were oily and not crisp.
Certainly won't be going back for seconds.

Satay chicken is the worse i have ever had taste like nothing and the meat taste like it was boiled it wasn't even yellow

Ordered takeaway and they messed up our order. They have actually given us the totally wrong order once before so this is the second time!
I ordered basil chicken and was given some kind of horrible pepper chicken. Won’t bother with Chef lams again.

Great food and great service. The decor was really nice and fits in with the Asian theme.

The only issue on my last visit (17th Oct), they’d clearly just repainted the place as it had a faint paint smell. However the paint smell was almost overwhelming in the men’s toilet. I could smell the paint on my clothes the next day.

But that will fade in time so not really an issue.

Great food. Reasonable prices. Pleasant staff. My local dine in or take away Thai restaurant. An extra star today for replacing worn furniture with new and new overhead lighting. There's more work happening so look forwards to seeing what owners, have done.

Tried here again after quite a few years. We had the mixed entree, went down well. Then ordered the honey chicken, fried rice, sizzling steak in oyster sauce, fried kway teow with prawns. I was expecting the fat, flat rice noodles that I am more familiar in association with kway teow, these were thinner rice noodles which had a chewy eat. The meal was yummy and we had eyes bigger than our bellies, so arranged take away containers. We finished the meal with deep fried ice cream (1 x Tim Tam and chocolate sauce, 1 x Malteser with caramel sauce) which somehow managed to make us feel less full than before we started eating the desserts! We did sadly, have to leave the last remnants of dessert in the bowl from fear of food coma.
The staff were all lovely young ladies. My son is already planning on reducing mains etc to concentrate more on desserts next visit!

We kept seeing chef lam's coming up in our news feed. So we thought we would give it a try. Staff were friendly and gave great service. We decided to go with a banquet and it didn't disappoint. We will certainly be back out new favourite Asian.

Been going to this restaurant for over 8 years tonight had the worst meal ever it was take away garlic pawns in stay steak where in a water no tase at all the vetables were totally raw the nicest thing about the whole meal was the prawn chips do so dissapointed always have a great experience not this time

Good dining and take away available at this place, a good range on the menu, some gluten free options available, good and fast service, friendly staff.

Absolutely by far the best salt n pepper prawns I’ve ever eaten five stars for everything portion sizes were perfect I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about worth every single cent Thankyou
