Cheap as Chips

As my previous post I find them to be a great place to visit and they have great deals for one to have, great friendly and helpful staff that are willing to help.

Cheap As Chips has been my go-to store for about 2 years now. The staff are outstanding, especially the young girls I encounter every few weekends. Anytime I ask for assistance on the shop floor, they go above and beyond to meet my needs, with excellent mannerisms, delightful conversation and out-of-this-world expertise. The product range is incredible.

It's not like it use to be, things aren't as cheap as chips but they have a huge range of items so you can pretty much find anything you are looking for

Cannot express how much I love this store! The staff are so kind and accommodating, I have never felt so recognised by a store and it’s members. Management have curated a such a lovely team at Cheap As Chips. The products are fantastic. Never had a below five-star experience. Would 100% recommend.

The staff are rude and every thing is so expensive. Honestly just go to the reject shop it’s better value for your money.

I came in to the store Saturday looking for a dog bed and was assisted by two lovely girls, Maddy and Harmony I think. I would love to thank these girls for a such great service! And an excellent bed for my puppy

I've noticed when I've been in there a lot of the older brands have changed to new ones but the product isn't as good. But otherwise it's a good store.

Bought a large fan that a lady bought back because she said it wouldn't go together properly, the lady at the store said it looks fine to her, so she sold it to me. My son tried to put it together and guess what, it is bent or something, things don't line up, my son needed it for work tomorrow 35c, shearing sheep in a tin shed, it was too late to take it back and now he has nothing to cool him.

Huge product range instore. Spacious layout and easy to find different product lines. Best of all were the 2 young staff members who were there today. Both very friendly and very helpful. The manager of this store has employed 2 excellent staff members. Highly recommend Mt Gambier Cheap as Chips store

Has pretty much everything you expect and good prices. Helpful staff. I enjoyed it there and got good value.

Looking for anything quirky and different you are bound to find it here.very easy access and parking

Wide variety of products, wheelchair accessible, cheap goods. Well situated, car park, smiling service staff.

Nice clean store with friendly staff. Big with all the great cheap as chips lines. Easy to find in town and plenty of parking.

Picked up a bargin on their extra 20% off catalogue day. Friendly and helpful customer service.

Rude staff, purchased a large item and they said they aren’t wasting their time if I can’t get the item to fit in my vehicle, I said I can get another vehicle to come if I can’t fit it into mine, refused to allow me to buy the item but after being very firm with them they allowed me to purchase it, would’ve went elsewhere if I could find the item elsewhere, won’t be stepping foot in this store again

I love the staff here! The layout has changed a bit but it's usually pretty easy to find stuff, on the rare chance I can't find what I'm looking for the staff help without making you feel like you're inconvineancing them

Pretty basic store for budget items if that is what you are looking for. And sometimes that is all we are after. Covers wide variety of sectors, just be prepared for some low quality items.

Annoying having to duck and weave through isles because of pallets of goods everywhere!
At leat 20 throughout the store

All staff members are extremely polite and helpful. I can HIGHLY recommend this store.

Prices are great (only downside, is that some of the products I bought did NOT have a price on them or the section/hanging area was NOT price marked. It made it HARD for me to work out the total of my purchases before I got to the checkout.)
